The map and (possibly the longest manufactured part) is there, so they have a solid ground to build off. What I think we all wish to see that was not present in the demo is the following: 1. Purchasable homes, with the ability to choose where to put the cars in the garage as well as some customisation inside the home itself. - the best part of collecting the cars was making garages with a specific set of cars, I used to love driving half way across the island to get to one of my other houses that had a specific car of mine I wanted to drive in the garage. 2. Variety in missions, car delivery, giving people a ride for money etc. - something to break up strictly racing and give you reasons to drive far other than just to find new races. 3. Car specific HUD elements. This was one of the great things about TDU 1 and 2, it was nice to be able to drive in chase cam and still have some of that interior DNA of the car via the gauges. 4. Brand specific/smaller dealerships and individual stores scattered across the map - Again giving a reason to explore and find stuff. 5. Cockpit steering animation needs a much wider range - I don't know how hard it is for them to implement it, but the demo showed perhaps the lowest animation range of any racing game I have seen in recent time, the lack of steering angle is completely immersion breaking and really brings the game down. (Have a look at drive club to see a great example of how much more immersive the cockpit cam can be with proper steering range animation.)

@@MagicAyrtonforever Let's wait and see, they showed that they actively listen to the community ans they invested wayyy too much in the game to just let it die. If there's a modern gaming enterprise I trust, it's KT Racing. This game was made whike actively listening to community feedback, and even during the Nacon reveal gameplays we've seen features added throughout it, such as the ability to turn off the vehicles, the vehicle controls wheel, graphic improvements and detail, and so on. The developer said they weren't planned, but maybe could be a good idea. It's the same with the houses, but those they already said would get added as DLC, we just don't know when. They know what they got themselves into when they bought the rights to TDU, and he personally said he loves the series, and KT being a racing game enterprise, I'd assume he isn't the only one. No Man's Sky is a great example of what a small company can do with enough time, effort and passion. I feel like this game will follow a similar direction, regardless of how it's received at launch. No Man's Sky had very bad reviews om 2016, but since 2018 it's a completely different game, and even more nowadays. Almost everything that makes the game so unique nowadays was added as DLC, such as base building, animal taming, exocrafts (vehicles), many graphic improvements and texture updates, including recently (for example, space station interiors were vastly improved from just an year ago). I know this game will be great and really big, just maybe not at the start for people who don't like it how it is currently (not counting with the glitches and poor optimization, it was a demo). I saw the game, I like it the way it is, despite that I want to see houses in the future and more vehicles, but the game is still good and those things will get added later, so I don't really mind it.

30:40 With all due respect, online only is not something new, it is something inferior, and it has been extremely clear from the majority that it is unwanted. I could group together with 7 of my friends in TDU1 back in 2007 from all across the planet, and continue to access the game solo when the servers retired. What is being presented as "new" is limited to grouping with 3 other friends from the same server region as you (hopefully a limitation of the demo only) and a game that will cease to function at all when the servers are down. Please KT, tell me how any of this is an improvement? We had clubs in TDU1 and TDU2 and they were ignored by the majority.

Always online is a terrible idea with minimal positives and huge downsides. Consumers DO NOT TRUST this format. You are throttling your project before it's born.

they have to introduce an offline mode, I can't imagine racing with other players all the time... they have to add at least 360-degree steering wheel rotation animations, I want custom license plates to appear and they have to zoom out the camera in the car's cockpit! I guess I don't have to write about how terrible the demo was?

I hope for more traffic in all areas of the game, some hot hatches, and classic jdm's. Would aslo be cool to have the side missions taking a person to a destination for bank like the old test drive or possibly have to take a rich person home in his/her high end car giving you a chance to see what it would be like to drive one of the very best cars in the game for maybe 3 mins. More vehicles in the showrooms along with specific car dealerships. Sooooo excited im pre ordering mine this friday👌🏽

It's good that he outright mentioned The Crew and they they're already planning for having some sort of end of life support. Also, Peugeot 406 coupe is genuinely a very nice looking car, one which I've thought about a few times about owning

Please ask them to add more traffic especially on the interstates, they should always be filled with cars , also love to see pedestrians. The world feel so empty and apocalyptic, steering wheel needs to be 360 degree no 45… we need a fov slider for height, if we want to move the camera back more and have a wider fov slider , need drift tires and suspension … besides that everything else looks amazing . I really hope they’ll take this into consideration

@@floralis11 literally especially us wheel players , we have to have those . We have no peripheral vision at all and the 45 wheel angle throws off the whole immersion . I like how the crew motorfest did their wheel with the hand movements

I hope they add bikes later. I build desktop and sit-on motion simulators for bikes and if they had bikes with VR and motion support it would be brilliant. It is 2024 and no VR is just so wrong for a driving game.

We think it's very important that you address the issue of each car's signature speedometer - like in the previous games. We would like Kylotonn to implement this feature in the final version of the game. This will make the game feel more like the previous games in the series. This is the real Test Drive experience! Could you please have this done by Kylonn, and confirmed by game publisher Nacon?

I love that my old T500RS works and to my biggest surprise the separate shifter and my hydro handbrake which is truly a flight joystick works plug and play. If I could suggest some minor tweaks it would be an even more adjustable seat position, option to delete steering wheel, FFB and steering linearity option, option to have adjustable limited slip differential, and if possible work a bit more on realistic physics maybe as a later update to have a hardcore mode which is more sim like

If tdu2 was made today it would be online only as well. That game was also designed with most features online but we just never had the technology back then to make it always online.

Im so hyped about this game! However there are a few things that need adressing before the final release, eg. optimization so the game runs at a solid 60fps at all times, even during race with lots of cars around. better steering animations. At least 180 degrees or something, as it is it's just not enough and it breaks the immersion. we prefer a rear view mirror running at a solid fps than a frame dropping one with more details. I've seen many versions running the rear view mirror reflections at like 15fps. customisable license plates, more traffic density, actual gear switching animations, custom HUDs for each car, car washes, actual fuel consumption so you run out of it, if there's one game that can pull it off it's Solar Crown! Let's go KT Racing I'll be buying your game but it still needs polishing from what I've seen on Twitch

Always online is not even the worst part. Its the forced pvp in races, forced pvp is far worse than a game be always online Why do so few people mention always online as the worst part, when the fact is that is not.

tdu's dna is literally the online, tdu 1 introduced online multiplayer which was very novel for open world races, and tdu 2 is almost entirely online-based with community centres, races, and all of the other player interaction Online was always tdu's "thing"

They must reconsider a partial offline mode, it's the standard. The demo did not do them any favors, game needs 2 more years. Foundations are ok-ish, but needs a lot of work and diverse interactions with the map. The cruising identity of TDU2 is half here... I hope they put emphasis on that. It's the whole point of it all.

Just pre-ordered the game after watching this interview. I was skeptical in the beginning from all the things i've heard from people who have played the demo. But hearing from the man behind the development of the game brings more assurance.. Seems more genuine than the developers behind Turn10 studios / EA games. Looking forward to the game! Hope they add VR and bikes!

They absolutely have to give up the PvP only thinking and give us the possibility to play the game solo. I loathe online PvP and have absolutely no interest in being forced to play with people I don’t know. The talk about Test Drive being all about socialization is, imho, absolute 🐂💩. Not even being given the opportunity of a single player experience is the beginning of the end for TDU.

Just remembered my wife had a deep blue with donald trump skin interior it looked allright but then million spiders moved in and she said the car has to go and I agreed cause I had to collect it from the road side 2 times when the spiders attacked her crawling out of the air vents so she just got out and locked the car waiting for me

"some cars will be difficult to get" ...thank you! couple of things I want to say about this, firstly if you make all the cars fun to drive including the cheapest ones then you wont be too worried when your next car will be affordable. And I really think they achieved this, I played the demo for more than 3 hours and had lots of fun driving the starter Nissan, I didn't have an urgency to get a faster car (yet) because it felt really nice to drive. Secondly I really don't like the trend of some games just throwing cars at you for free every 2 mins, you end up with 50+ cars that you have never driven and you have no personal connection to them, you have no idea how they drive because you just haven't had the time yet to try them, its kind of like when you go to a party and you don't know anyone there, you're sure all those people are awesome but its just better to meet people 1 at a time over a longer period so you have a good chance to get to know them. I just much prefer to unlock cars at my own pace.

Nah, even if theyll telease an offline patch, im not buying this. IMO the game must be pkayable feom the disc itself without any kind of patches. It'so heartbreaking to see those dumb decisions Kylotonn took and continues to take with the games they prosuce. Flatout 4 was awful as well

Make sure the ping with all players is below 200ms I get 240ms and last time 300+ with unblessing experience. Also, make sure to increase the difficulty without OP acceleration in the straight and very slow at the corners with AI AI must improve and make them realistic when racing! Basically, bring GT 7 Sofia AI to TD SC

@@este_marco I watched gameplay at the begining, u can tell with controller it was almost like a arcade game with terrible unrealistic mario kart physics but with a wheel it was much better even the guy reviewing said that. I hope they can get simcade physics like forza, n not horizon

@@este_marco I dont really care about what its like on controller, I will never touch a proper car game with a controller anyways so it seems decent with a wheel already. I already know this game is gonna be getting better with time, so I dont plan on touching it untill atleast a month after release. Or if its somehow really good at launch n flawless on pc might just get it then. Also it has to have v.r for me to ever play it long term.

They should have stayed on Oahu, abandon the avatar part and concentrate on online aspect of the game which we all know it sucked in previous versions. I have not played TDU:2 because avatar aspect of the game and inability to skip wooden video scenes has put me off. Why they put those avatas in every game these days? This is a car game for car enthusiasts. We enjoy how the car looks, sounds, accelerates,brakes, it's features and we like to race with other players. Is this so difficult to figure out for game studios? Just concentrate on cars, interaction between players and online events. Don't waste money and resources on useless elements. This time I'll wait for the game to be discounted which will happen quicker than we all think and I'll buy it then.

I tried demo and car handling was so rancid, I immediately removed it from wishlist. Some of the worst I've felt in a racing game. Add always online live service trash bs and it's an absolute no buy. Foza Horizon has made a plague of always online mess in racing games, and it's ruining entire genre. Go back to single player racing games devs.
