I was watching this video thinking how there was no dismemberment/decapitation like in Warrior Within, and then I get to 5:16. Looks like it was in the game during development, but taken out at release. I wonder if there's an early build of the game with it in.
@@dvda9725 Wow, that's actually crazy. I had no idea about this. Thanks everyone for the responses in making me aware of the truth. I'm pretty sure I own it on PC, so I'll have to check it out (or maybe emulate the NTSC version). It'll be strange playing through the whole game the way it was intended to be played 😅
And, they never made the game that they claimed to make. Just imagine PoP3 in style of Assassins Creed 1 or 2, with open sandbox world, where you can even visit locations from previous PoP games. How cool would that be? Sadly, they abandoned this series to make more Assassins Creed games. What a shame! And that remaster of PoP Sands of Time... I don't even know if it's gonna came out someday or not. Well, at least we have what we have. Cool trilogy of Sands of Time, not a bad reboot from 2008 and not a bad Forgotten Sands.
She belongs in the past and hee powers were connected wirh the island of time. So basically she was easy to beat in the present as she was not the queen of time anymore
If you follow the story, Kaileena had already seen the future through Prince. Still the conclusion of the Prince, in the future she had seen, was the most promising to her. Listen to Kaleena before fighting Vazir. Hence I believe she didn't resist at all when she was being captured. If what I had said is true, this would be a great character arc for Kaileena as well, as here she is accepting her fate for the greater good, not trying to change it like WW. If none of above is true, then it makes no sense for Kaileena to be this week, in WW she was able to damage Dahaka, while in present, not in past, so she was powerful enough. Also even though disconnected to Island of Time, she was still able to use her power to convert most of Babylon's population to sand monsters. So I don't believe her power level had anything to do with Island of Time. She could have easily taken out huge portion of the army which attacked them before getting captured.
Warrior within has more of a creepier, darker story line and its overall more challenging to finish the game, so that makes the game more interesting. but T2T feels more like true prince of persia to me cause it’s a trilogy, has same voice actors and little more nostalgic. in spite of new things added that kinda adds more fun to play with 2 characters differently. although opinions are subjective i choose T2T personally
For me prince of persia two thrones was a downgrade.. in terms of graphics as well as combat moves.. Warrior within was so brilliant in terms of the dark undertones of the island of time and the prince's deadly attack combos.. and also looked quite good .. The rock/metal soundtrack was also superb... the Two Thrones felt more restricted in terms of combat similar to Sands of Time.. with only few attack moves and some stupid time based attacks.. The characters also looked very rough around the edges and there are no memorable soundtracks..
I wouldn't call it crappy & Warrior Within is a copy of the Sands of Time, right? If it has similar combat mechanics doesn't mean that it's a copy. The trilogy is old & true fans appreciate all POP games.
They weren't lying about going for a Hollywood soundtrack, tbh that's partly why it's the most forgettable game in the trilogy. Sands of Time and Warrior Within both had *KILLER* soundtracks, they could have at least gone for a fusion of rock and orchestral, would've been awesome actually. Also it sucks that they brought back Yuri Lowenthal as the prince, all that really did was make it feel like the Prince had de-aged in an attempt to cater to WW's critics, it would have felt a lot more like natural character development if they'd kept Robin Atkin Downes.
Warrior Within is a piece of shit, which tries to be a god of war and fails miserably, a game made to please young teenagers who have never played the original series, no wonder it sold miserably, received negative reviews and was even criticized by the creator of the series himself. Thank god that ubisoft listened to the criticism and came back with what the series should be, and not this edge warrior within shit.
