this ladies and gentlemen is proof why you shouldn't follow trends, I know exactly what they were thinking when they were making this, ah almost every video game and movie looks grey and dull because that is what people love! we must make a doom game that also is grey and dull! In fact I wouldn't be surprised if RAGE fell victim to the same problem for the same reason, honestly this almost even looks like RAGE, anyways It absolutely paid off to scrap this
The player near the end of the footage clearly wasn't used to tank controls 😂. I hope Capcom release a Resident Evil Classics Collection and include this and 1.5 as bonus content.
it really didn't look like this on 3ds. even on the tiny screen the resolution was appalling and the frame rate was awful. citra isn't at all representative of the real 3ds.
The problem actually is with the develop team. They came up with a good game the problem is that a franchise get only so much time to stay alive or reinvent itself. Its good alot or the concepts were used in future games. But the franchise was dead. Early late 1990 time was about who got the next thing out. Not who could keep a story line or franchise alive
It is hard to say with one is the best. The PS3 looks way better on the modern TV but there is some lacks in this version that are obiously not in the PS5 version since it is the PS2 version. At the intro, sly isn’t in dark in the PS3, alors the sell shading effect on the models looks attenuated, and there is a few dialog bugs…
It's interesting to see moves that got cut from the final game. Would be cool to see what the game would've been like with them still in it, though I doubt that's possible.
There's no contest. The XSX version is much, much better. I know it utilizes the 360 version but I've already seen the reason you explained in the comments. This is just Sony chilling out with less of a work to save more for their precious pockets they care about. Glad I got the PS3 HD version instead and don't see a reason to get it. I'd still like to see how it matches with the 360 version but I doubt it would make a change.
Simple 2000 series has some good games for being a budget series, this is one of the best ones IMO. Some of the titles were released in Europe under different names, this one sadly never came out of Japan, but a translated rom is available online
Believe it or not while the PS3 is based on the 360 version they applied a method of anti analysing that absolutely ruins the picture quality and makes it look worse then this PS2 version
It was beautiful but I felt it was more a cinematic. And I was disappointed there wasn't more puzzles or challenges. But overall it was a beautiful game
