Good gravy, that was riveting. I've seen snips of this footage here and there but never this much in one video. It's a testament to how important it was to capture as much as possible in camera and not rely on the special effects to carry everything. The setup with the imagined reactions and lightbulbs probably felt silly individually, but the sum of the parts working together when they shot got it 85% there in light, tone, creepiness, and intent. It left only 15% for the special effects teams to augment what was already there and push the footage into the stratosphere.
