Lilo and Stitch was one of the last great animated movies from Disney. And by that I mean true flat-board animation; so to see that so much cultural reality was put into it is heartwarming. They drew from the Polynesian world and created a beautiful masterpiece that wasn't a remake, simply an idea someone had and decided to make into a movie. Beautiful!!
