Well, "Worlds best airline" ??? Not really: - those near-east/gulf-area airlines pay more attention to the length of their flight-attendant fingernails than to safety AND lock up their "own" women at the same time !!! - the training is the same as most airlines do and I guess that they copied everything. - having too many foreign people work together is rather a disadvantage, because there is less coherency; and with restricted time of employment the staff feels less commitment to the company and therefore less responsibility. -> probably less safety. (There are studies about this issue.) - the airlines advantage is: they employ foreigners from poor countries for low salary (catering, loading, cleaning...); they have low costs for airport fees, because they are supported by government; they pay next to nothing for fuel. -> more money for gadgets. Just a little share of my 33 years of experience while working for a major European airline. 🙂
That's not true at all. I've flown with Qatar Airways quite many and the cabin crew were just very interestingly from Singapore, China, Poland, Spain, Indonesia among other nationalities. Sure, there must be some from India, but not vast majority. So, I guess you must have been mistaken Qatar Airways with Air India.😂😂
I don't know how do you recruit your recruiter . I suggest you should hire a decent recruitment team specially in India who hires candidates not only on what they think. At least give an opportunity properly . People travel from far to attend your interview . Your recruitment team crushes their dream in a fuckin second.I know everyone is not eligible but atleast you could have informed the candidate where he or she lacks behind . If you can not make your candidate happy how will you make your customer happy. You don't hire a pupil who has passed IELTS , you reject a candidate for having a single minor pimple . #QatarAirways
Im a cabin crew in training right now, seeing this and everything in this video is literally the things i just learned a couple days ago. its fastinating really and it takes a lot of hard work to become a Flight Attendant, the intens training is frustating and stressful, this is not an easy job. Had an open day today 4th June in Trinidad and the recruiter only asked Why I want to be a cabin crew to which I explained my love for customer service and my empathic nature to do unto others as I would want done to myself and those I love and how I related to the company's slogan "Taking you personally" I also look forward to the training and gaining valueable knowledge in health and safety. I was not selected. There were persons there who were already cabin crew who were not chosen. This is in Trinidad so they alone know what they looking for. Also the recruiters looked shabby and dusty so not sure what made them fit to recruit. When asked what can be improved to be recruited the next time this short hair lady with a sort of bob cut who is a recruiter said its a hidden criteria which she can't disclose. Is there such thing as a 'hidden criteria'?? Or is that a loophole for prejudice?

If a flight attendant needs to do CPR on a passenger, they can time the pumps with their watch Keep track of time during the difference phases of the flight (boarding, preparing for take off or landing, etc.) Watches also look professional when used as part of an overall uniform. It’s very important to airlines that flight attendants look professional and give a great impression of the airline.

I’m actually on a holiday and I was on Qatar airways my return flight is in 2 weeks or so and I can confirm the crew and Arline are the best of the best in everything but most importantly making sure our safety is their top priority and giving us a enjoyable flight the entire flight this is the 2nd time me flying with Qatar airways I will be flying with them in the future highly recommend them a lot
Is it true that Qatar Airways cabin crew must be in their accommodation at least 12 hours prior to report time when in base? I have also heard that even when they are on a layover, they are not allowed to leave their hotel rooms if less than 12 hours prior to pickup. Other members of crew are expected to report if someone is not following these, and many other, rules and restrictions. I noticed in this video that trainees are segregated according to gender. Do all airlines in the Middle East follow this practice? I also wonder why there are not many cabin crew at Qatar Airways from Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and North America. I suppose working for Qatar Airways is good for some, but one should definitely educate oneself about the company culture before applying. And yes, I would say the same thing before applying to any company.
Premium airlines definitely employ superior female cabin crew ,they have a delightfully haughty air and are prettier than budget airlines, during close to 60 years as an airline customer in my humble opinion Air France 🇫🇷 have distractingly beautifull ladies as cabin crew which helps make a long haul almost bearable.
Cannot rely on digital time should electronics be faulty . Still need the manual version. Also the crew may want to keep in mind what their GMT is back home when contacting friends & family

For me, the best airline that I have used in my life, is a Chinese airline called Hainan Airlines, they fly from different cities in the United States to Beijing, the capital of China, their service, punctuality, and food is much superior, the crew members uniforms are always impeccable and clean, their planes are very clean and comfortable, Qatar Airways has to learn a lot from them.

@@asharaly9887 Qatar airways on two occasions did not let us travel to our destination in Dubai, it all happened the same year, the first time they let us for the C O V I D test, they told us that we should have a test with 72 hours before boarding, something we did, when we arrived at the Qatar counter in San Francisco, they told us that now it's 48 hours, they didn't let us board the plane, we had to stay in that city and take new tests at the same airport, tests that didn't cost $275 each for a total of $550 plus only $200 from the hotel for that night. After a few months we have to travel to Dubai again, we wanted to give Qatar another chance, this time we had to go to Doha first for a few days, what happened, they again did not allow us to board the plane because there was a mistake in the name of my wife instead of writing Angela, they wrote Angel, no one at the Qatar Airways counter in San Francisco could correct that mistake, they called the headquarters in Doha and no one could correct it either, of course we couldn't travel, we had to buy new tickets, the money in the others was lost because the tickets had restrictions. Now tell me if I have no reason to be upset with Qatar Airways, that's why I said I will never use their services again.

Qatar crew is wonderful and a joy to fly with. I fly with my service dog and they are extremely professional and friendly, ensuring not just my comfort but also that of my working dog. I normally don’t like flying much but I fly in exactly a week with them in QSuites this time. Looking forward to it.

Cabin crew are not for meal service only,they are actually the life saver....they are first aiders, firefighters, security personnel, emergency path assistants, physicists etc and yes ambassadors .... respect them when u interact with them....love them and they will love you more....
My dream has always been a cubing crew but I haven't had anyone to stand by me through guidance and connections. Now am already a mum with some weight an I be given the opportunity to be a curbin crew with Qatar?? YOU (Qatar) are my dream even my traveling am praying one day to travel with your plane. In case of an emergency landing they all have to know how much time has left until ditching on water for example. Also they are not allowed to wear there phones during the flight. When the purser welcomes the passenger at the destination, he also has to say the exact arrival time ☺️
