Explaining The Lore Of The Bond CEs (Lancers) 

The fact that Fionn's name is actually pronounced as either Find or Finn makes that story a lot funnier to me. Just the idea of summarizing it quickly, makes me chuckle. "So Finn has the Salmon of knowledge, and asks Finn to watch it, but Finn accidentally eats the grease when it burns him, so Finn gets all the knowledge instead of Finn."

For Enkidu, in the Fate version of the myth according to Strange Fake, Enkidu and Humbaba are basically siblings. When Enkidu was still a wild creature after being created by the gods, they and Humbaba (who's a girl in Fate) were childhood friends. As they were both made by the gods Enkidu started seeing Humbaba as a sister of sorts.

So before I got into FGO I actually used Lalter's Bond CE as an image for an item for the D&D campaign I was playing in. And even when I started playing FGO I didn't realize they were the same image until I reached the Lostbelts. Which imo is proof that Lalter's armored design is her best design.

About the dogs in Cu Proto's CE: I think it's also a reference to Prototype in which his Master (Reiroukan Misaki I think it was?) gave him 2 dog familiars (and the green spear to hide Gae Bolg --cool idea I wish they kept for FSN lol) As for Ryouma, it is a followup to his Rider Bond CE but yes, just like a lot of things Gudaguda-related, it's OC glowup lol

For Elizabeth, some sources state that her real self historically dabbled in alchemy, much like other nobility during her time. Given her extensive medical history, it follows that the Fate version attempted to create an elixir for self-remedy. I take the Elixir CE's description to imply that Elizabeth's concoction inevitably had very dire effects and eventually led to her downfall.

Aren't the hounds in Proto Cu's bond actually meant to be the children of Culann's hound? Cu says that he was so impressed by the original hound that he personally raised his young to be even more impressive guard dogs, so it would have been important to mention that detail during that CE's section.

The Romulus=Quirinus CE is actually referencing how he is a Lancer who uses hus arms as his weapons. Something about the infinite love he holds for the people of the universe because he represents human civilization at its core. Roma being a civilization that had an infinite impact on the world just makes his NP deal more damage to Roman enemies as well. He is a God of Civilization, a Grand Servant that represents all that humanity has ever done and ever will do as a civilization, growing infinitely until "The Entire Cosmos is Roma=Everything is Human Civilization"

Another fun fact about Caenis' bond ce The Trident being placed upright is a reference to one of many tellings of his story. In defiance of the gods he placed his trident upright in the middle of a market and people made sacrifices to him rather than Poseidon. Zeus seeing this act of defiance sent 5 Centaurs who Caeneus slaughtered. Zeus then sent more who did the usual Tree stack strategy.

In a more recent piece of the epic of gilgamesh we find out that enkidu and humbaba knew each other when enkidu was wild so not much deviation there since enkidu lost it in the battle with humbaba in fate too

Specifically that it was a legendary spear named Hegemon (like its master), made of meteoric steel, and weighed a stupid 40.5 kgs, to give you an idea of how much this actually is, the famous zweihander is only about 2-4 kgs, and that is a sword meant to combat foes dressed in full-plate metal armor. What is interesting though is what happens when you try to tie it back to history, as during his last stand at the banks of Wu River, Xiang Yu's spear was broken, he resorted to drawing his sword, and would go on to kill hundreds of enemy soldiers singlehandedly, the spear in this context could then be understood as something extraordinary, but would inevitably be broken, similar to the love shared by Xiang Yu and Yu Ji, a thing of legends that would inevitably end in tragedy, this may all sound like speculation, but one should remember that much of Xiang Yu's relationship with Yu Ji, as we know them today, IS made up by the various plays and stories that would be retold throughout history, so in many ways Yu's relationship with Xiang Yu, is mirrored by his legendary spear which never even existed in history.
