It's 2022. This is by far the best and informative gypsy wedding video I have seen. The bride's first dress was absolutely stunning, so classy, the second was beautiful as well. I hope this young couple are still married and have had a happy life.
I have much respect for the Romani people. Don't loose your traditions like so many people have, including my own. God Bless you and your filming Beautiful Job!
@@JessicaJasinski Sinit from Germany. After WW2, we left and came to Canada. I found out about everything, and trying to learn about my heritage on my own.
My grandparents with Their parents fled Russia in the early 1900's because of persecution. We have lost so many of our traditions, while not Romani,I have tremendous admiration and respect (and a little jealousy) for your perseverance. How blessed you are.
Iam also a gypsy born in hungary but grown up in canada .. wanna say thank you for showing this to the world that we are very passionate humans and we can behave live just like anyone else godbless brother 🙏 opre roma 💪 🙏 ❤
I watch your family gyptsy wedding and was so beautiful. How women in this culture are so respectful to parents and families. God and family now you are the villagers that are raising good morals and families. I was in tears i remember when i was younger it was like that for our black culture but not a anymore. You guys know how to Party with A 1 class. Thanks for sharing .
What a great video. It's so nice to see family traditions and the respect for one another. When I was a very little girl my grandfather had a best friend I remember so vividly. He called himself King of the Gypsy's. This was the late 1960s in Providence R.I. He was fascinating to me. He would always give me shiney coins. I would have such fun with the two of them. Thanks for giving me a glance back in time. Whenever I see the My big fat gypsy wedding show I always think to myself... That's not at all what I remember my grandfathers best friends being like. He was a kind , gentle and respectful man.
I really enjoyed this doc! It was very educational and it helped me to better truly understand the ways of your culture! On that note, great job! Could you please do me the favor of telling me the title of the first song you played? Thanks!
Thank you for sharing! Such a wonderful change from the other "gypsy" weddings out there. Your editing is delightful. Just as I was wondering why there was no color footage, there it was!
That was beautiful and very educational. Your traditions are lovely, classy and very respectful. I am so glad you posted your video to show everyone the true ways of a gypsy people and a wedding x
I loved this video bought me to tears, it is a beautiful tradition I grew up in same neighborhoods surrounded by Gypsy's and have always been intrigued. God bless this beautiful young couple and everyone in the video. Gorgeous wedding!!
That's one of the most beautiful weddings I've seen and nothing like the gypsy weddings you see on other TV shows, both in the UK and America. This was a classy wedding I do wonder how a Gypsy of a poorer background could maintain a lavish wedding like this. The women ALL looked amazing, their dresses stunning, not just the bride. Thanks for sharing.
I love this documentary. I became interested in the Gypsy culture after watching the show arranged. Christian and Maria were on that show, and I found it so different that parents will arrange your marriage, and these marriages end up lasting. I find that so amazing. Because the way I grew up, we are taught today live your life get married later on in life don't marry as a teen, find the right man for you. But divorce rate is so high. I don't know if I could trust my parents to pick the right man for me, that I would like love and get along with. But I guess in your culture I mean these families know what they're doing these marriages really last, people learn to love each other and make their relationships work. And I respect that so much. The show My all American gypsy Wedding makes some look like trash. There's so much fighting and arguing on that show. It doesn't make gypsies come off in the best light. But this documentary was fantastic. I would love to sit down and ask a million questions just because I'm so intrigued by this culture
Thank you so much for your great comment! To be very honest it's a new world and not all arranged marriages work it as it did 20 years ago. But the lifestyle and traditions still stand!
Informative and tasteful. The whole wedding celebration a well planned and beautiful affair. Both gown's were gorgeous! Not at all cheap or tacky looking, like the ones shown on some of current TV shows. Pray the young couple has/had a long and loving life together.
My family is Spaniards, we have Gypsy's in Spain and we're proud of it mind you I'm half Puerto Rican this is why I love watching your vlogs, thank you.
@@carebaer by the way Lovari are Vlach....there are a few who make up the group Lovari....Kalderash...Machvaya...many others to be found in Europe as well
Thank you for sharing your culture with us. This was so classy and done with style. I loved it. Just goes to show if given a chance in life, i believe a lot of Romania n's can outclass other cultures. Love from South Africa♥
I just came across your beautiful videos' on u tube!! They are so entertaining!! I didn't know anything about your culture. Thank you for teaching me!! God bless!
Bobby thank you for showing the other side of Gypsy's, I appreciate you taking time to show us all, I too am a born again christian yet I had no idea there are so many born again gypsy's God bless you!
Gypsy is derogatory name for the Rroma culture . I have been reading and researching the Roma culture for around 3 years . Very beautiful culture with such sad history. I had not knowingly ever met a Romani person in the US before ? After tracing history back to India/ Pakistan how do we not know more about them ? They want it that way lol and for good reason after reading such sad history of the way they have been treated in Europe and still to this day. I have managed to meet 1 Sinti Roma man over seas and he is one of the most intelligent people that I have ever met in my life ! This man speaks 4 languages perfectly . I am 56 and have been adopted by my new Phraleo / brother and my new Dej / mommie . Wonderful people .
This was beautiful wish we could get back to those family values of God and family. Sit around the dinner table and family look after family. Thank you taking me down memory lane and I am not a gypsy but we in our culture we had those family values too.
Amazing video Bobby. Very beautiful, informative, and alluring.Your documentary is very similar to a few of the episodes I've seen on My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding about the Roma Gypsies and a show called American Gypsies on National Geographic TV. I recognize one of the elders from American Gypsies who attended the wedding, I think his name is Bob Zero. I was wondering could you please tell me the name of the movie footage of the gypsies and the names of all the songs you had playing throughout the documentary? The description box only gives 2. Also, what kind types of gyspies were at the wedding? And last final question what kind of dancing was done at the wedding and the movie footages? It looked similar to Hungarian Gypsy dancing. Thanks, you have me hooked. Please make more documentaries about Gypsy culture. Your talented and awesome.
Hey Mr Bobby, I'm rewatching your documentary. I pray you make more documentaries and would it be asking to much for you to list all the songs you used in this documentary? Thanks and God bless. Stay well and stay safe.
Hey Mr. Bobby, I'm sorry to keep bothering you but I can you give a full list of the songs used in the video because the description box only lists 2. Thanks so much and please keep the documentaries coming. Soon you'll be a Roma Filmmaker 🎥 👏 😉
You are the best ever, I love the way how you made the videos (documentary type) you have a natural talent and you are bless🙏🏻🎶⚡️🤍 I love have me like my friend God bless you🎶🙏🏻
This is the wedding that any little girl would dream of. Family. Tradition. A celebration of marriage. No matter what Culture you're from, it's good to see that values are important
That was a beautiful video! I'm just learning about the Romni ways! My family kept it hid and tried to main stream in this Gadji world! Since I was a child I had Gypsy was! Lolololoolololololol! 😎 If I would of known about are culture when I was 11! Thats when I started running away! I would of been in a tribe and I know for a fact I wouldn't of dealt with 99% of the problems that I was forced to deal with! My father knew and he would try to beat it out of me! But I was to strong! I know are honor and blood is to strong! We are the strongest people in the world when it comes to honor! And we will die defending it! Ive come very close to dying defending my honor! The Italians dont have nothing on us!😎 Lol! But yes Im trying to get in a good Traveler Community and live my life the Romni way! Great video! Love to all my Romni Travelers out there! And may God bless all your Travels! 👍😎

Have a friend who has Bohemian Gypsy on his mother's side. His grandfather decided to be a farmer and stopped traveling. Ed remembers going into the ' forbidden outbuilding, and seeng the ornate wagon. He doesn't know what became of it. I said that Gypsy tradition was to put the deceased and all his or her belongings in the wagon, burn all and never mention the person again. They stopped, after they found out how valuable the wagons were to ethnicists!
Bobby.. Subscribed..Beautiful presentation. I loved everything about it. Fabulous Wedding..I loved the music. I l loved the black and white. It could be a documentary. Thank you!
Oh I believe it.. I just watched it again..ha.. I love to peek in on other cultures. The gypsy culture has always fascinated me. Your passion shows through so beautifully. I forgot to tell you that I really love the beginning and the ending.. The Old reels .. and one of my favorite characters was the young man dancing at the end with the sunglasses on with a pretty girl in a wine colored dress. He was just too cool for school. Again Thank you.
Thank you. I have encountered Roma people and wanted to learn and not judge. I have watched 6 documentaries on the history. This was the icing on the cake. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing. :) Wow! And, I thought Italians had extravagent weddings! The bride was lovely, the groom looked shy. I wish both of them the very best! (I know this video is from 2014 -- But even people who have been married awhile need good wishes, prayers and positivity from others)
I really enjoyed watching this beautiful tradition. The crap they have on tlc makes it look like the gypsies are trashy in their over done wedding dresses ect. This wedding was so classy! Beautiful! I would love to see more of these kind of weddings. So well done! Thank you sharing
saste baxtaleRomale.. igen sukar video.. what is the sasty song name .. very beautiful version.. If someone can give me the name or upload these songs id appreciate it. thank you God bless
hey bobby my name is chris marks im in california im 52 years old and i think you did an awesome job with this wedding documentary. I think you were right on the money, and you did a very professional job. God bless you sir. odell tusa
Id read, in Miami Psychic, that the man keeps the children and all the money. The author was a Gypsy, who'd made a lot of money by , regathering accidentally, becoming the psychic reader for the Miami Underworld. She kept raising her fees, hoping to discourage them, bit, they just paid. Once she caught her husband cheating, she was willing to give up all that money and get away from that life.
How much romani are living in usa? In spain, most in the south we have romanis called gitanos, and they give the famous music called flamenco, some of them are music stars, like camaron, and much others and we are proud to share this culture who gave fame all over the world.
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL,I COULD ONLY WISH TO HAVE WEDDING LIKE THIS WITH FAMILY,FRIENDS AND JUST RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER,IT GREAT TO SEE PPL TRYING TO KEEP TRADISHIONS ALIVE. DONT LET THIS CULTURE FADE,ITS A CULTURE THAT PPL SHOULD KNOW MORE ABOUT,I KNOW MY FRIEND WHOS A GYPSY AND THEY WHERE THE KINDEST PPL WITH BIG HEARTS. GOD BLESS THE BRIDE AND GROOM AND CONGRATS TO ALL PARTIES INVOLVED.
I think every culture has issues with "bad" people. Just because someone in Miami isn't happy doesn't mean that ALL gypsy people have these same rules.
Very interesting, very respectful. How in the world did this particular group come by this kind of wealth? Usually, I see gypsies living on the fringes of society so I am really surprised to see a financially well-off bunch here. I also see a lot of cohesiveness which seems to be consistent with the Roma. Good times and bad times alike, they seem to be happier than people in other cultures, always dancing and showing off their dancing skills. Looks like they know how to have a lot of fun.
