The unit is horribly underrated and likely because so many bought it for use with the guitar. Most, though not all, of it's effects sound crummy and cheap with a strong amp and pedal distortion, but a mild overdrive or clean guitar, other instruments and vocals, it's still competitive with equipment in 2024.

Hello Mate. So you are happy to use this for live singing effects? reverb echo or delays etc? Would you reckon more than a TC helicon?

Yes, you can save user presets in any order

You would definitely be better off getting a phantom power supply for the mic 👍😊

Attach headphone to interface. Mute monitors. attach microphone to interface > enable phantom power> adjust Mic preamp levels> continue set up and route from interface/ vocal preamp out to input of effect processor > then mute the channel you will route from processor back into recording interface. If you've recorded a raw track prior to set up than press play and slowly increase volume if whichever channel the return signal is assigned until you hear the raw track and processed. Until there is no longer a microphone in the signal chain, dont turn on your monitors or else youll get feedback.

I can’t remember now, but I think it was from Gear4Music, here in the U.K. I’m sure where you are but they ship everywhere I think, hope this helps. Also, I think was about £20, and has room for three racks.

If its a condenser microphone you may need fantom power to work properly.

Just grabbed a second one for £50, so bargains are still to be had. I still find myself going for my trusty old Digitech Studio Quad if I want complex effects, but these are great for inserts.

Definitely, I'm probably going to grab a second one too since they're so damn cheap. Both of my synths will have one each instead of having to swap inputs via patch bay

Because you are only using the left input and output. He is using a stereo fx send/return in the demo.

No, unfortunately that’s not possible

If you want stereo, you have to use two sends and returns.

The same here I connect to my Behringer Q802 by the manual still only signal from one side on fx2000

I’m not really sure this is the kind of unit to use for that kind of effect. What do you mean by DJ Effects?

No, you can’t chain effects together

there are some presets where effects are chained though

Thank you. About your question, I don’t have the unit anymore, but as far as I remember you can’t set up custom combos, they are fixed.

Ive read that you can’t use multiple effects at once unless they have already been combined in a preset.

No, this does not have phantom power for condenser mics, not many effects unit will have that feature usually because you run them through the send and return part of a mixer, and the mixer will have phantom power for your mic

It's an FX Rack Unit so you would normally use it with a mixer, but yes, you can put a guitar through it too, or vocals, keyboards, anything you like.

Yeah but depends on the interface and number of outs. You need 2 extra inputs additionally to the channels occupied by the instruments you want to record. You'd also have to be able to use the interface's accompanying software to assign channel routes. Plug in whatever instruments you want to send. For example, microphone input CHAN 1, stereo keyboard input CHAN 2/3. In the interface's software, route input CHAN 1 + input CHAN 2/3 through output CHAN 3/4 or whatever output channels are free (must have at least two). These are your AUX send channels which go into the Behringer Virtualiser input 1 + 2. Now here's where the 2 extra inputs on your interface come in. Plug the output 1+2 from Behringer Virtualizer into the 2 extra inputs, these are your AUX return channels. That's it. If possible in the software, save this preset so you don't have to manually do the routing again. Now a couple of things...Make sure you are not using the output channels which go to your speakers into the Behringer Virtualizer. Now think carefully about this one. Make sure that the 2 extra channels you used for AUX return to your interface from the Behringer Virtualiser are NOT routed in the software to go through output CHAN 3/4 as this would cause a loop! I also recommend never changing this configuration without first resetting to the default preset in your interface's software. Good luck
