Tim, I personally have found that there are certain foods I incorporate into my diet that help with other medical issues. Everyday I eat bacon and eggs for breakfast. I have burger patties or chicken wings or similar for lunch. I have fish or steak or similar for dinner, if hungry, and I switch it up. Every other day though, I have some red grapefruit for a snack, since that helps me with my sinus, which is bad at times. Doctors tell me there is nothing they can do for me, and to just take over the counter stuff. I have tried everything on the planet I know of, nothing works. However, the grapefruit really seems to help. Not grapefruit juice, either. The actual fruit. A couple times a week, I may have broccoli or asparagus with my steak. I fry the asparagus in bacon fat with a little garlic and chopped onion. Delicious. Most of the time, it’s just meat and eggs, though. Question: my body really likes tuna. Is tunafish ok once in a while? I would assume the oil packed kind. I’m not talking fresh tuna steak. I know that’s ok. Also wondering if you take electrolytes? Dr. Berry talks about that. Thanks for the info and I will say I haven’t had any grains since you started this channel. Don’t miss that, either. They were hard on my gut. I feel a lot better.
Tracy, I get it. Do what works, and don't accept any guilt about it. Marina is not carnivore; mostly keto. She reminds me not to be a nazi about this, lol. But it does work for me, that's for sure! Tuna fish is fine. Mitch has a great recipe for salmon cakes you may wanna check out. I think he orders his from Amazon. I don't take electrolytes, but I am liberal with the Redmond's salt. I do drink plenty of sparkling mineral spring water, which I've really grown to enjoy. Keep on rockin!
@@wheelinandgrillin sorry. Accidentally deleted. I have used Redmond salt for years. I also like the bubbly water. And, thanks for the Mitch tip! I will check that out tonight! ✌️❤️
