I’m really sorry to hear how badly ash has struggled with their mental health, but really quite happy that this will hopefully create more awareness surrounding psychosis. Not everyone with psychosis seems “out of it”. A lot of it is very internalised and a lot of people pretend to be okay because they’re afraid that, for example, who they feel is their persecutor will take advantage of them in some way with the knowledge that they suspect them. I hope they feel better soon ♡ There is help out there, not only face to face but also loads of resources online. P.s.: great episode therapy gecko
I love that everyone’s staring at you because where you’re sitting is usually where a busker would be. They’re confused why there’s a camera and not a guitar
Lyle hopefully this gets to you. Do not be afraid of coming across like a 'know it all' when talking about social and political issues. You can prefix what you say with "I don't know shit" if that makes you feel comfortable, but you shouldn't hold back after that. Like she said, it's not about right and wrong, your perspective is still interesting, and nobody in their right mind is expecting beautifully considerate nuanced political commentary from a guy in a gecko costume, if they do that's their problem.
The fencer's band "Acoleth" is pretty good. One song i did listen was called "Forever" was pretty interesting. Nice that he mentioned "Wormrot" as an influence. A really amazing Singaporean grindcore band
yeah look that's a pretty normal night out here in Aus, you just gotta nod and be a bit of a yes man when they're aggressively drunk like this. Sometimes they make for great chats, except the whole tough guy act they put on is obnoxious af but other than that it can be pretty entertaining.
Interesting. I enjoyed your compassion to speak perspective of unity ,peace to display a morally understandable conversation. Keep up the good work gecko man
Bro literally got to interview and take a picture with the UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and he’s showing the picture like “I don’t even know who this is”
100% the person having a problem with the set up didn’t actually have the authority to tell anyone to move. Local council aren’t just knocking about patrolling for infringement.
i can understand her not wanting to take seroquel its heavy. i took it before and get into these repeating loops of trying to do something and it never happening and i had no energy to move even move so just slept.
I think it’s mad to take it on a long term basis during the day. It affects everyone differently and the dose is obviously important, but even at a very low dose of 25mg you are quite slow
@@king-gon that’s wild. I’m sorry you went through that. Nightly, a dose like that can be taken to help with insomnia, because of its sedating effect. Someone should only be prescribed such a dose if they’re going through an episode of mania, psychosis or something along those lines, but on a temporary basis. It’s difficult to take it though if you’re going through either because it’s likely that you won’t want to, whether it’s because you’re paranoid, don’t like how it feels, think you don’t need it, etc. At the end of the day the decision has to be made between giving it a go and seeing if it works or not at breaking the cycle of chaos. If it does great, if it doesn’t then great as well, on to something else that might help. Beginning a medication journey is challenging because there is no one-fits-all prescription. Every pharmaceutical interacts with every individual uniquely. There are guidelines, but it’s a process of trying different medications and doses. It really helps if your doctor is kind, and it also helps to be patient and hopeful ♡
@@perrypalling1202 followed you on spotify and everything dude im looking forward to the next drop🔥 my friend and I are like an industrial hip hop kinda band also going thru the spotify grind so I got nothing but respect!
ASH this is for you. To me seroquel was strong and 100mg would have been a lot for me, I have depression and anxiety and was taking ssris for over a decade and was given seroquel as a sleep aid. Not a fan of it personally I reccomend trying something else if thats an option some nssri type medications could work very well for you with few side effects you just need to try different ones with your doctor until you find one you like. If you need something stronger than that im not really sure. But I do think behavioral therapy and just therapy in general would help a lot, and I think you are right to want to take as few medications as possible, but theyre not all bad if you can find one that works for you. EDIT: The drunk guy. You handled him like a champ Ash, Both of you actually. I just expect it from Lyle by now.
It's honestly funny how Australians think about different states. I would have to agree with real gecko here LA is pretty dangerous. Like most big cities are in the US. I guess you wouldn't really know if you don't live in the US tho. Also like guns are just gonna be a stressor in almost all the states I feel like.
OMG I was in queen st when ******* the crazy guy was there at the start, I watched it live it was unreal. side note i love how the lady told you to go to post office square then it cuts to you sitting in king george square lol
The Ghosts in your head? I thought I had a petty ghost that would misplace my things, but I learned I just wanted to believe that over the truth. It was me! I was the one who misplaces my own things! And maybe once it was a squirrel
Okay holyshit I took seraquel for months and I couldn’t work, I could barely move and I spent a lot of time in like semi comatose states with vivid night terrors.
That conversation about how scared aussies are of guns is so funny. I mean i never really thought about it but yeah. I think im scared of even seeing a gun.
