@someone102 "PCSO's are the eyes and ears for the community and give so much (with much pride), often more than the police officers at a fraction of the cost" The reason that PCSO's are a fraction of the cost of real Police Officers is down to the training. Police Officers are fully trained whereas the cheaper PCSO gets less training. The proper term for PCSO is Plastic Police Officer.

My brother took his seatbelt off a yard before he stopped the car outside his house He then had to listen to a teenaged girl a third his age telling him off and threatening him with a fine. He bit his tongue to save himself a few quid but he was furious. (Yes, I know it's a skit ffs.)

Community policing should be paroled by people dressed in official police uniform and be trained to communicate with the general public, based on the attitude of the regular police force.

I like the idea of PCSO's, have the police be more integrated into the community rather than this oppressive force looking for enemies, but it was such a half arsed effort and basically used to let regular the police be more uncaring and the PCSO's be clueless jobsworths.

The sad thing about this is the two guys in this are more intelligent than most of the PCSOs and some of the full time coppers !
