I cannot thank B&H enough for making sure the audio was loud enough for people with moderate to severe hearing loss, seriously this is one of the only videos I've been able to watch so far that is actually loud enough for me to understand what's being said, major props.
@Monica Robinson Thank you for watching the B&H Photo RU-vid Channel and for your participation. We are very pleased that you derive value from and find our presentations useful and informative.

I've never watched these seminar videos until lately. I discovered them in the past month or so. Within this last month I've almost become obsessed with them and I discovered many good videos and many good photographers. Or so I thought!! Nothing or no one compares with what I just watched. Informative, engaging and full of great (not silly) humor. And i don't even shoot in his genre That's whats cool - it doesn't even matter. I love this guy. So glad I discovered this video and elated that
One of the best lectures on creativity and photography I have heard in a long time. Frank Doorhof is a true photographer that is very passionate about his craft. Highly recommended!
I really appreciate the value of the information passed on from all these FREE videos, and the time involved by all. I just do not have the money to attend workshops and the photo walks etc... And I want to say that Frank is a breath of fresh air and enjoyable to watch. He does not lay a bunch of BS on you....thanks guys...
@matthiaswegger Thank you so much for watching the B&H Photo RU-vid Channel and for your feedback. We are very pleased that you derive value from and find our presentations useful and informative.
Frank, if I were to say I had a style, it would be like yours. Really great job confirming to me the way I shoot is not crazy or wrong. It's nice to see someone teaching this way....thanks
I love when a professional speaks like a normal person (that everyone is). He just leaves it on the user friendly level and yes, he made me laugh many times. This is one of the most informative videos about photography that is very funny at the same time
For me its a very inspirational vdo......I am really very amateur photographer and from this vdo i came very good things.......... i enjoyed watching the franks' presentation......
Frank, what an amazing lecture! I have watched several other video which were all good, but your presentation made an impact on how I view my surroundings. So much so that I have noticed signs, abandoned vehicles, buildings, etc., objects that I have driven by ever day for years. I shoot with my iPhone 3G primarily now, but I am looking to purchase my first DSLR soon, a D90 or D5100, I can't wait. Thanks again
Content like this equals sales. While I was watching this, I was also in the market for a Nikon 105mm macro. I chose B&H. Luckily Nikon came along with their rebates just in time which helped close the deal. Excellent speaker and content.
Very entertaining and informative video! One of the reasons I shop B+H (in addition to their great prices and service) is to support their event center and the videos they post of the presentations
When looking for soft light and smooth fall-off, one should look for an adequate size softbox used close to the subject for the least amount of falloff from the transition from "lit" to "unlit," or from "highlight" to "shadow." The size of the softbox in relation to the subject will dictate what area is lit, and the closeness controls the falloff. - Yossi
