Don't lose hope friends!
Here are some verses to meditate on about gratefulness.
- Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.1 Thess 5:18
- Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phil 4:6
- Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Col. 3:15
- And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Col 3:17
- Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1

I am proud of you! I was a stay-at-home mom of 4, one income. I wanted to be home if i had children because i didn't have them for someone else to raise. We didn't have top brand this or fancy vacations or the newest gadget. Yet we had much fun hiking, finding a treasure at the thrift store, games and snacks. You can be creative when you don't have a lot. 😊 Today i am an empty-nester and close to all of my children. And so proud of all of them for the people they have become with humble beginnings. They don't remember we didn't have a lot. They just remember the fun and the bonds. 😊

Psalm 37:4 - Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. He is! I remember when the song ‘Christ is enough’ from Hillsong came out and it was such a deep song for me. Made me think about those words more. Is He really enough?! And what does that mean?! That makes sence. I saw your milk in the fridge. Then we are almost neighbours. I am from Germany/ Lower Saxony. I did not know that in the Netherlands homeschooling is allowed.
