I can understand George being skittish, that's just how he is, but the fact the *Mitchell* of all people is scared to go investigate a strange noise in the house is just so damn funny 😂

this was such a great scene, I can't believe it was cut. 3 seasons was way too short for the three of them. they really had a chemistry together. it really worked.

After watching this half a dozen times and wondering how Mitchell knew she was a ghost, it suddenly occurred to me that, duh, as a vampire he would be able to tell she doesn't have a heartbeat.

I love how Mitchell is an large man, an immortal vampire who's older than the average vampire, shown to be stronger than seth who's older than him, can beat a room full of vampires, has killed hundreds or even thousands of people, and yet he wanted george to protect him

I love how, when George asks if it's blood, Mitchell begins to ramble on about the paint but all of a sudden realizes what George said. Classic reaction!

I love how Mitchell's vampirism makes him really aware of other supernatural beings. Like, he immediately knew Annie was a ghost, and he knew when George had turned Nina. I think it adds something unique to the trio somehow. I don't know! It's just what I think :)

Why would they delete this? I think it's important to see how they first met! We saw how George and Mitchell first met each other, so why not Annie?

A vampire and a warewolf ... 2 of the most scariest things in the world .. Can kill anyone in a matter of seconds .. So what do they use to defend themselves? Cricket bat and an umbrella ... These guys mean business, i wouldn't wanna mess with them ;D Lol Xx

They should have included this as the opening scene to the episode where Annie almost crosses over but ends up not. It would have tricked us all into thinking maybe she would leave them, but also it’s a crime not to have it in the show at all

I can only hope. I'm still sad that they didn't have an actual scene in the series to show Annie reuniting with them in the afterlife, although it's heavily implied (from what adult Eve tells her) that "they" are waiting for her. 😭

I just LOVE the way Russel Tovey speaks.There are all brilliant actors. The series itself had some -ahem- problems but the actors are so fuckin talented that it makes you love this series even if the special effects are crappy.

Sure, the special effects are not fantastic, but their casting choices are dead on. can you imagine anyone other then Michael playing tom, or Damien playing Hal?

I guess they wanted to mirror the last episode of Season 1, which also featured a flashback. Since that one was of George meeting Mitchell, it would seem to be appropriate for this one to be the scene where Annie meets the boys. Even though the tone of Ep. 8 was very dark, this scene might still have worked, as a sort of contrast.

@megan130 that was epic wasn't it. they really started the season up with a bang with that ep. way cute! Sasha is sooo damn cool! "Say it loud, I'm dead and I'm proud! DEAL with IT!" "So em, what's Mitchell's story?...Wow, you did well for yourself there didn't you?!" When Annie was like, 'Nope, he's my boyfriend, yep..." lying through her teeth! LOL.

That was EPIC. I really wish it had been included. I alos wish to question the BBC as to why that is not on my season one dvd. But Mitchel's sunglasses made me laugh and Annie was too cute.

If they had kept this as a flashback it would fit for the Zombie episode where ALL three act like chickens. Search Being Human Series 3 Episode 3, Type 4 LOL!
