George began interfering with Hugh & Kirsty's love life. A wise move? Of course not. After all, this is the man who turned his girlfriend into a werewolf, so we were never expecting Cilla Black. But even George didn't anticipate a huge misunderstanding and one of the strangest threats he's ever heard. Oh Hugh... at least you got her in the end.

Oh, man, this is actually making me get all teary all over again! I was literally yelling at him through most of S2 to TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS YOU IDIOT, and to think he came this close!

Ohhhhh, they should have kept this in!!! Throughout the whole of Season 2, yes he should have talked to his friends, but I was really pissed off that George and Annie didn't try get involved at all, didn't try to talk to him or help him! This whole scene would have really made me a bit less pissed off at Annie and George for just ignoring Mitchells descent into a mass murderer!

I really think this should have been kept in the episode. It's nice to see that Mitchell was trying to reach out to the others. In the final cut it seemed like he didn't want to let the others know what he was going trough. I like the vulnerable Mitchell. This is great acting by Aidan Turner!!! I feel so sorry for Mitchell!

Mr turner is such an immensely committed artist it is hard to imagine how his appearance could be a factor such remarkable acting drives his characters emotional substance into the flesh and brings our own imagination into the job of conveying the intended insight beneath the skin

I think my only big complaint with Series 2 (aside from George being insufferable for the first episode or two) was that the main three seemed really divided compared to the first season- they all had their own thing going on every episode and i though we were kind of missing out on more scenes with the three of them together

@DiMac43 -- I quite like the way this show doesn't stretch things out and only does a few episodes per season. IT means all the episodes forward the plot and include some awesome and pivotal scenes. As opposed to the sometimes silly US way of having 22-24 episodes no matter if they have enough story to fill them all. Usually they end up with about 10 good episodes a season and maybe 12 filler episodes that vary from being okay to being dreadful.

For me the usa version did a lot better. They filled it out and was able to build the characters all but the vamp he was dull as dirt. But anyhow the bbc one rushed plots and jumped around to much for me. But I liked it because the characters . They screwed up major by not having these people on a real contract know only doing season per season.

Even though I'm in the the US, what America did to this show sucks. I'm on the UK side when it comes to being human. If you haven't seen the promo yet-- don't even bother, it's just stupid version of this.

i just watched the us version and i like it. i love the uk version too. i'm kinda looking forward to see what differences they come up with from the us version.
