The part when Willis said when you loose even loosing a parking space hits you hard...took me back to when Kambua said sometimes we joins dots that are not to be joint and this just adds onto the pain.

Thank you Kambua for giving these men this platform to share their journeys. Thank you Willis, Omari and O'Neal for sharing and letting loss dads know their feelings are valid and it is okay to grieve.

I love what Willis has said that he mended a relationship with God. This is very important.

You're young, don't worry you'll have another child. He's in heaven!!! That's the kind of crap I got. I wanted my baby boy.....and then my 2nd born was special and was sickly and that's a story for another day. We need to be super sensitive when you're around a mourning couple. Be silent and listen to them if they want to talk. I'm glad the men are vulnerable and they mourn as well! Good job kambua for bringing the dudes in this. I wish my hubby was still alive to see this....

Thank you Kambua..I had to spend my afternoon listening to this..After loosing my parent i felt that no one understands me..and i even separated my self..I am still healing and learning to accept that they are no longer with us..and mourning its not linear

Hey Kambua this conversation...I just gathered courage to talk with my spouse how I felt unsupported when we miscarriaged..and it's only now that I learn he was also pained and also needed help mentally....thank you ....we need more men maybe you can also share your husband's perspective throughout your journey

This is such a powerful conversation. Men need to be given such platforms more, to pour out and heal. It is so refreshing to see this. Also Willis is such an incredible communicator, not to say that others aren't, but he stands out.

Holidays trigger or remind us of our loved ones in a really big way. Thanks Kambua for creating this space. I have teared up, reflecting on how we easily by pass the man when a couple loses a child. It's like the only valid grief is the mother's 😢😢😢. Please forgive us, we know better now and we'll do better as fellow humans.

Oh death 😭😭😭 it is a mystery and the pain is just a love that we have for the person and we want to express ..... That what grief is . I lost my sister and my niece 10month apart 😭😭😭😭 oh grief oh grief is painful .... God is still God and out of this pain God has brought out something in me that is a mystery and few are celebrating yet they have no idea the process of my becoming..... May God continue to comfort everyone who has lost a loved one and to this great men , thank you for sharing.

I loved loved loved these two episodes. My goodness, so much to learn from the men's stories on how affected they actually get and should not be asked to be strong for anyone, not even their own wives. And then there is how we say all the wrong things because we feel we must say something when people are grieving...lessons learned.

This was deep men go through so much pain but society mostly focuses on the woman now I have a different perspective that men feel the pain n mourn too

I am terribly sorry guys for your loss. I can only imagine how difficult and heart aching it must be to lose a child. What I also wanted to note is that we scapegoat God for the sin and the death and the pain, calamity, corruption, loss and lack we see in the world. We have blamed God for the death we see around us instead of blaming the sin/iniquity/missing the mark/not partaking of eternal life that entered this world through Adam’s sin. The wages of sin is death. Mankind concluded that God pays us with death because of our sin. Sin is the one that brings death in the world. Paul makes a clear statement that the wages of sin is death ”For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free GIFT of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.“ ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬ By one man sin entered Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man(Adam) and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned.“ ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬. The only thing God gives is eternal life. God can only give what He has in Himself. There is no darkness and death in God so how can God give us death? God is not the Author of Death. The only thing in God is light and life. Even God Himself died with the sin of the world but rose up on the third day. To show us that He is not the Author of death and when death came knocking at His door He was raised up and that kicking down the power of fear death held on us. Death is dead guys! Death is defeated and we have the light of life in Jesus. We need to see the book of Job and the Old Testament not carnally but spiritually. Not according to the Letter but according to the Spirit of the book. And Jesus is the Spirit of the whole Bible. In the Old Testament it was Christ concealed and the New Testament is Christ revealed for who He is “the word of God made flesh”. God needs to be sanctified in the eyes of the church. There is nowhere we Jesus brought death to anyone in the Gospels. And He said I only do what I see my Father do. When Jesus’ disciples wanted Jesus to call down fire to consume the Samaritans for denying them access through their town what did Jesus say to Peter? In fact the Bible says He rebuked them. ”And when His disciples James and John observed this, they said, Lord, do You wish us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, even as Elijah did? [II Kings 1:9-16.] But He turned and rebuked and severely censured them. He said, You do not know of what sort of spirit you are,“”For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them [from the penalty of eternal death]. And they journeyed on to another village.“ ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭55,56 AMPC‬‬ We live in a fallen world where sin and death is around us however in that we have light and life and death is defeated and will be completely eradicated when death will put in the lake of fire. Rev. 20:14. ‭‭

I have a COVID Baby and people I knew and close passed on I myself sensed I had COVID at some point coz I lost sense of smell and couldnt beleive my baby getting it and the last pregnancy before her I had miscarriaged at 3 months and wuuueeh I almost lost it.. BUT GOD.. HE IS INDEED A GOOD GOOD FATHER🙏 That's all i can say😢
