This Munro is known to a lot as a tick of exercise as its a big rounded mountain but i decided i wanted to make this a more memorable one for me so i decided to would do a bike ride from pubil dam along Loch Lyon to the back end of Beinn Mhanach and approach from there . It was pretty much grass slopes all the way up but i got to see it from the other side. the camp spot was brilliant i was treated to temperature inversions sun sets and sunrise i couldn't have asked for a better night it was just brilliant.

Cracking video Ally, nice to get reward for the effort put in, stunning conditions. Feels like more of an adventure when doing an alternative from the standard route. Cheers Paul

Thanks Andrew it was brilliant couldn't believe I got lucky with the weather as this year's not been great so was great to get those conditions the views were superb already looking forward to another camp but might be in to next year now with the colder weather coming. Atb Ally 👍

Thanks mate had planned this one for a while was just waiting on the perfect conditions and finally I got them was a bit of a rush after work to get there but was worth it the viewscwere stunning and was great to get the drone up in them conditions. Atb Ally 👍

Andy what a night I had was absolutely brilliant got finished early and headed up was pushing for time before sunset but made it and I was glad couldn't have asked for a better night .Atb Ally 👍

Thanks Donny was great to get away for the camp and was cutting it short get there before sun set but managed it and was rewarded with stunning views just a bummer its heading to winter now. Atb Ally 👍

Had a ball Paul from start to finish loved it mate the weather was very kind to me no clag 😅 but to get a sun set a sun rise and a temp inversion was just the icing on the cake. Think this is my best video which is good to be able to take a rounded mountain and make something of it gave me that wee boost for editing again mate. ATB ALLY 👍

Thanks Andy i got it right on this one waited a while to do this camp and the weather finally came good , the sunset sunrise and the temperature inversion was amazing to get it all together was the icing on the cake looking forward to getting some more camps in but might be next year now as its bitterly cold up there now. Thanks Frank it was brilliant I planned this one for a while now but the weather wasn't playing ball and got that chance I went for it last minute and do glad I did it was fantastic felt like time had stopped up there and have took your advice always take the drone no matter what 👍 I will definitely do more camps if your up for one give me a shout . Thanks Becky i think it might be my best so far, i planned this months ago i couldn't get the weather conditions when ever i was going to do it but the chance came up and i went for it and so glad i did it was stunning , i wanted to do it from the other side as the normal path pretty much just goes straight up and from the side i done it was mostly grassy but made it a bit more appealing. i still didn't find my water so some one will get a free bottle on the way up 😂Atb Ally 👍

Mountain porn at it's finest Ally 👌😎 You'll remember that camp alright. Cannae whack an inversion. 😍Time stopped up there indeed. 😉 Nice approach from the Glen Lyon side like, compared to the A82. Last weekend looked magic for a summit camp. My misses was in Ibiza for a wedding so ah wis stuck indoors looking after the furries. 😭

Kev seeing you and Robin out in the tents a lot got me thinking I needing to get a summit camp before the weather changes I was so glad I did as I couldn't have asked for a better night was great to make something of mountain as it's not renowned for its stunning looks 😅 . You be gutted not getting last weekend as the weather taking a dive again 😒. Atb Ally 👍
