Bel'veth: I'm not some mindless voidspawn. Also Bel'veth: *frantically slaps everything that moves*

There's a lot of key words that shouldn't exist in the same champion ability kit. And also her skin is a final boss, nice.

*Riot 2010:* This ability is a skill shot that deal AD damage when it lands, cool down is reduced if it hits more than one target. *Riot 2022:* Passive: Every second attack against the same target deals additional true damage, stacking infinitely. Takedowns against epic monsters and champions leave behind a piece of Void Coral. Epic monsters from the Void, like Rift Herald and Baron Nashor, drop special, voidier Void Coral. Active: Bel’Veth consumes a piece of Void Coral and explodes, slowing and dealing true damage to nearby enemies based on their missing health. Upon consuming Void Coral, Bel’Veth temporarily changes into her True Form. Consuming Void Coral left by epic monsters from the Void (Rift Herald and Baron Nashor) grants Bel’Veth her true form for an extended duration and causes minions that die in her presence to be reborn as faithful Voidlings. Voidlings are small minions that will serve Bel’Veth by marching down the lane in which they were spawned. True Form: When Bel’Veth unleashes her True Form, she gains increased max health, out-of-combat move speed, attack range, and total attack speed. While in her True Form, she also gains the ability to dash through walls with Void Surge.

I do wish that her kit incorporated her whole "Void Empress" persona more. Maybe that'd make her too similar to Malzahar, but it would have been nice for the Voidlings to be incorporated more into her kit rather than just making her go all AA all the time

After seeing this, we can all conclude that _Bel’Veth’s kit quite literally and figuratively slaps._

"Doesn't have attack speed cap..." *Shivers, sweat dripping down my neck, heart rate doubles, hands grip my phone almost breaking it in half* "...but her attacks and on-hits deal reduced damage" *Grip on the phone loosens, yet the dread remains*

Was looking forward to a character that can have its own wave, kind of like Yorick but more of a mage/caster, which is what I thought of when they said “hive mind”. This character does seem interesting, I just wish the spawning small minions wouldn’t be so conditional and she had more control over them.

5+ passives of 200 years collective experience. Riot gonna medal themselfs with this one.

RIOT!? Sivir: -throws a boomerang -aa bounce for basically no dmg without applying on hit (just an aa reset basically) -spellshield -movement speed

Y’all may be scared of this, and while I am too, I’m just hoping her base hp and stats are lower to compensate for how fast she stacks lethal tempo. Also them learning their lesson and GATING the mobility behind ult is pretty nice.

I like how everyone is talking about her true damage and attack speed But no one mentions the fact that she was apparently supposed to be a swarm champ, yet the only swarm mechanic in her kit is a sub-passive for her R where she can spawn void fish minions for a short period if she takes a baron or rift fragment... As a void swarm empress she has less swarm mechanic then a random undead monk or her brainwashed lunatic.

I'm just happy we're finally getting a new monster champ along with some fresh void lore. The void is my absolue favorite part of the LoL universe (that and Targon) so seeing a whole new side to it is awesome. The champ itself I view kinda like Vel'koz insomuch I don't really care if she's good or not, i'll play her for the cool aesthetic and somewhat derpy animations. She looks fun

Imagine her getting a Cat Themed skin, fitting for all the slapping auto attack animations. Her voidlings would also be actual fish with the cross eyes and all

honestly, her concept is legit pretty cool. i was iffy when i saw the manta ray slap preview. but in game and not blurry it actually doesn't look that bad and makes sense for her kit lol

When you don't know what to call it, but it has to be cooler than normal: "special, voidier Void Coral" They are usually made out of the Void, but now they are made of super Void xD

Her unlimited as cap reminds me on the kogmaw patch, where he doubled his attack speed and ignoring the cap. 5.0 as was kinda hilarious and strong. This gonna be fun

Wouldn't have expected "the void empress" to just slap things really fast. Void empress sounds like a zoning/control mage with minions in my mind.

I expected her to be a unique design, that integrates the idea of a spawner character into league, but I guess I can work with ANOTHER auto attacking hyper carry that is pretty much full build after buying mythic

Her kit is surprisingly simple, her kit pushes players to clear epic monsters and push lanes afterwards. Maybe my jungle won't suck this time.

URF multiplies attack speed buffs tremendously. I can't wait to see what she can do with a full AS build and Lethal Tempo

Her E were Galio's Prerework Ult. But scales with Atk Spd, have Dmg Reduction while rooted & doesn't Taunt.

Ah, looks way better than what the earlier videos were implying. The stab attacks look really good compared to the slaps. Seems like you'll stab when you're above a certain attack speed threshold. And even the slaps look better when they're locked for low attack speed. GJ. True form still looks slightly goofy with the yellow, though.

I flinched when I read "infinitely stacking true damage" Depending on how much true damage it stacks with she will either be a really strong pick or she'll be *yet another* champion that gives tank champions a migraine.

Her theming is cool, and I love the cinematics/lore for her, but Bel'Veth will be a nightmare to balance. There are stat check champions and then there are STAT CHECK CHAMPIONS. This is old Aatrox on steroids.

I feel, deep inside, that her Kit was supposed to be in Udyr's rework; Passive reminds me Tiger Spirit, Q some animal that dashes with small jumps, W like whater sea-whale spirit hitting with a big tail, E buffed Turttle Spirit and R final unleashed form. And I feel like her desing was made to be an AP caster or even marksman to play against Kai'sa, because I don't find any logic in her AA animation. Just thoughts.

She actually reminds me of another version of Viego when it comes to her ult passive.... I feel that's what she is going to be based off of in team fights. She gets a Void Coral the fight is pretty much over. It's almost the same as Viego in a teamfight. I can see her played as a raw tank just because of her infinite true damage and no AS cap... In theory that could work but holy hell does this champ seem loaded with possibilities lmao

Its actually nice that in a counterpart to shivannas dragon passive, she has a herald and baron passive

4 dashes, infinite true damage scaling, uncaped attack speed, I don't even want to imagine what the next champ after her will be like

TLDR: Infinite AS stack (without cap), True damage, missing HP damage, Dashes (and resets), hard CC, lifesteal, damage reduction, eventual hp/ms/range/AS buff. Probably also untargetable during R I'd assume? I think they forgor to give her stealth or a revive in her kit.

Going to be fun seeing the youtube videos where people get her to a stupidly large number of stacks and have her attack speed go crazy.

"our champions don't have overloaded kits" R- auto attack true damage, aoe slow, aoe true damage base on missing hp, spawns voidlings, increase max health, out of combat movement speed, attack range, attack speed and can now dash through walls. This single skill does more than any pre season 6 champion's whole kit.

Q, W, and E reasonable length descriptions. Ult, longer description than her other abilities combined

I love how she passively gets attack speed with NO CAP and her dashes cooldown scales with attack speed. 'What could go wrong' the champion... Can't wait for some clip of a massively fed Bel'Veth with max attack speed build, max scale Lethal Tempo having like 0.5 seconds of cd on her dash

I wish her gameplay to be more like the empress who commands the voildlings instead of having to fight by herself. Still cool regardless.

This has to be the most underwhelming champion theme x gameplay kit pair in like... years. She's the Overlord of the void, and all she does is slap you and hit you really fast.
