Hrz - My grandfather has a Belarus 572. About 15 years ago the tractor got hot while using one day. My family were milking cows at the time with low milk prices so money was tight. They left it sit for all that time with a suspected blown head gasket. Until recently. Until I discovered your restoration series. I am not mechanically inclined at all. But watching your videos gave me the confidence I needed to ask my Pap to let me help him fix my "favorite tractor". Now we have the engine torn apart. Were able to unseize the super stuck pistons. The head is at a machine shop being repaired. We are almost ready to reassemble. I just wanted to thank you for helping me do something I never thought I would do. I love your videos and appreciate the content. Thank you!

Cool videos. We had our first Belarus back in '80, a 820. Then 825, 100hp with turbo. An other 825 with a electro hydraulic 3-point control. And the last one was a 826 with a Russian made cabin, earlier's had Finnish made versions. Me and my brother were just kids when the 820 arrived. Clutch and brake pedals were very heavy to use, so one was standing on the clutch pedal while other jumped on the brake. Good tractors. Worked very well for our dairy farm. Front suspension and quite fast on the road.

Direct injection version of the 52. Great tractor, tons of power and tons of traction. Patience was needed to set up the hydraulics, but well worth doing it.

I invested in a Belarus 82 B a 1998 model and have fitted a Stroke harvester head to it . I am very interested to fully understand its functions and how to maintain it properly

I made the ring from scrap metal. Some big washers etc. But don't bother with it, convert to hydraulic steering, it's much better.

What type of pressure washer are You using? How well is it working, are You happy with it?

It's a Kärcher HD 5/15. I get my stuff done with it. It would be nice to have some more power (more pressure and more water volume, sometimes). Very reliable I have had it years. I use it almost daily.

On the tractor? It's just regular 1/2" air hose quick connect. They sell it in every tool and building shop normally.

Hi hrz4x4. I have the same problem. By tightening the nut steering wobble problem does not disappear. I have the same tractor as you.

Roolivõimu võlli nuut, mille otsas käpp on oli juba teiselt poolt käppa väljas. Sellepärast on vaja suurema auguga seibi ja teine, väiksema auguga seib tsentreerib kogu selle kupatuse lihtsalt võlli keerme peal ära. Siis ei pea neid seibe seal kitsas kohas sättima ja hoidma. Niigi oli tüütu seda seal tagasi panna ja tagasi kinni keerata. Peale loksude eemaldamist läks loperamine paremaks. Päris ära ei kadunud, teatud kiirustel tahab ikkagi natukene loperdada.

I dont't have any experience with other tractors so I cannot confirm. Considering that the tractors are born around '80-s and already worked 10000hours before me, I think they are quite OK.

hrz4x4 we had them here and they didn't hold up very well compared to our fiat and ford tractors, a clutch would only last 300 hours, for a cheap tractor their alright but I'd prefer an ursus or zetor over them

Richie Hanley most tractor clutches fail if driven by a "clutch bandit", I sold, repaired and drove these, most lasted 20 years w'out any problems, but one in ten was a "pup" just like any other make of tractor.

@@MrMusic1950 well said. I have a small holding and make about 30 acres (12 hectares) of hay using a 50 and a 52, mid 1970 production. The original clutch is still good on the 52 but I am changing the 50 loader clutch this weekend, hence revisiting Mr. HERO4×4 videos. 4000hrs. You have to keep spanners handy, but they are unbelievably capable tractors. I like the driving position of the 50 series with the bench seat right at the back and the column hydraulic controls. I wonder how many people are working 45 year old John Deeres. 👍

@@killthebums the clutch material was bad "in bad hands" but a decent driver would have no problems at all. Borg and beck did a total cure friction plate. Maybe thry still do it??
