It's a sweet song because Tails is a sweet kid.

Honestly, I think Tails was at his best in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, he just pulled of his genius move like the Fake emerald trick but he still fails a few things. But I think the moment he faces Eggman to protect Station Square from the missle was his best moment.

This is that one song that you secretly love but don't want anyone to know about.

I have to admit it. in this game tails was at his prime.

In Sonic Adventure i loved how Tails went from simply following Sonic everywhere to become a hero himself. I felt proud of him and i loved this song :)

I love how this song expresses Tails. When we first meet Tails, all he wanted to do was be like Sonic. He always wanted Sonic to be proud of him. In this game Tails realizes Sonic's not always gonna be there to help him. He realizes he has to be a man and do things himself for once. He can't just rely on Sonic for everything.

Stranger in the bus/subway: Wow that guy should be hearing some badass songs on his/her earphones. You: I WANNA FLY HIGH SO I CAN REACH THE HIGHEST OF ALL THE HEAVENS!

Tails is by far my favorite Sonic character, and probably somewhere in my top 3-5 video game characters. One of the reasons why I like Tails so much is because he reminds me a lot of myself. ... Oh yeah, this song is pretty freakin' awesome, too.

It is kinda sad that when I first played as Tails, I absolutely hated his gameplay compared to the other characters. Now, though, I think the flying ability is pretty awesome, and I play as him almost as much as I do Sonic..

I like this version a lot more than the SA2 version. One of my favorite songs in the series and Tails will always be a fave of mine.

The character development of the main characters in this game and in SA2 was great, too bad in more modern day sonic games the character development is targeted away from sonic and his friends and at characters that appear in one game, they need to target the main cast of characters with character development like in SA1 and SA2 ( the only sonic games that didn't have good character development were sonic colors, sonic generations, sonic lost world and sonic boom: rise of lyric, but they were still very good games (except sonic boom: rise of lyric, that game was terrible in most peoples opinions, i only thought it was okay)

Life is so weird. I remember listening to this song when I was younger and not taking it as seriously because I thought it sounded cheesy. Now I'm here because this song is helping me get through a breakup, of all things. The lyrics to this song are a lot deeper than most people think.

This fits tails perfectly because he was bullied in school, but he wants to be cool, and he's really nice. He wants to believe himself after everyone bullied him.

Sonic and the Black Knight is the only Sonic game I've actually played, I'm only now discovering so much of its music actually goes really far back.

As a kid that grew up with Sonic games of the Adventure era, I can say whole heartedly that this was my jam as a kid. This and Sonic Adventure's version of It Doesn't Matter. But then again, what Sonic kid didn't love these songs?

I really like this game's story for Tails. He realized that he can be independent and that he can do anything. He should definitely be able to believe in himself now.

i relate to this character more than other fictional character ever like tails i am a kid who is fascinated by anything mechanical (mostly cars) who was fortunately not bullied but for some reason disliked by many of my classmates for liking cars. i like to imagine myself in tails's place sometimes and it just feels like game character of me and i love it! i love this song and tails so so so much!

Is that like an allusion that he wants to see his parents in Heaven?? Who would be waiting for him in the sky?!! I'm probably looking too deep into this, but what're you guys thoughts? Tails was the first character story i completed, and honestly he was my favourite character in SA1.

Tails is an awesome character even though I've never played any other Sonic games but Sonic and all stars racing transformed and Sonic generations he's still pretty cool.

Decimating everything in your way with lasers, all while figuring out your purpose in artificial life, freeing your bretheren from their metal prisons, and finally freeing yourself, feeling you have completed the course that life had layed out for you? The theme is based off of Tails' story in Sonic Adventure, because in many parts in the story, it portrays him having to rely on Sonic. This changes almost halfway through the story, and Tails realizes he can't always rely on Sonic to clean up the mess and that he has to take matters into his own hands. This is not his OVERALL theme, but rather the theme from Sonic Adventure when he became more independent in his role as a character.
