Sin really is so horrible! For a Christian who falls into temptation, the conviction and guilt you feel after is NOT WORTH ANY SIN! Feeling so distant from God & being constantly confronted with the way you hurt Him & your relationship with Him because of a stupid sin is actually the worst!! I can never stop thanking God for His mercy and forgiveness!😭 May God continually help us to walk in the path of righteousness!🙏🏾

I am the Lukewarm Christian and I am trying to fix that but I do fall in to temptation easily. I fear the consequences but the temptation tends to overcome my fear and I fall victim to them. I pray that I will one day be strong enough to completely turn away from temptation before it is too late. 🙏

17:30 this is the truest statement I’ve ever heard. My heart and soul hurts from hearing this because I KNOW it’s true. I’ve been feeling this way for a very Very long time. I never belonged in the church but then I never belonged in the world. I had no friends because I felt unworthy around church folk and unwanted since they always had their cliques, but I also would always feel horrible and dirty around unbelievers who would speak nasty and perverse things and jokes. I’ve just felt so left out, for so long. I am 21 now, and I am beginning to find my self in Christ. I will trust in him that he will grow his spirit in me so I become a *true* Christian, and I also will wait on him to give me Christian friends who will be there to also help me grow in Jesus. But I want to first have a firm foundation in him so that I don’t make anything or anyone else my reason for living. I want Him to be my main purpose in this life

But I know through your love, you will forgive me. Help me to come back to you, and live as you want me to. Sorry Father. Forgive me. Edit.. it has been 7 months and I can report I am doing better, I have come back to God and have read his word and prayed more, although there is soooo much room for improvement, I am glad to say I have started my journey with God again and with his help, my therapist, my friends and anti depressants I have come back to the light and ready to live a full life faithfully serving him

In Summary If we live in sin: 1. God wont listen to our prayers 2. We will lose our witness to Jesus 3. God will discipline us 4. God wont bless us 5. We will reap what we sow Holiness = Happiness

It’s been a little over a year since I lost my dad. Was deep into addiction, manic depression anger towards everyone and was planning to take my life. Then out of nowhere God sweeps in and turns me away from the darkness. It’s like everything was suddenly at peace. I’ve been clean for almost a year now, my mental illnesses have seem to disappear, got a hold on my sexual sins, becoming easier to live like and for Christ and finally building a relationship with my mom and most important my relationship with Jesus Christ. There is nothing he can’t do. God bless all you brothers and sisters ❤️😇

I was one who thought it was ok as long as I was there. I'm so glad I came to my senses. This is one of my major issues. I seem to go back and forth. One moment I feel like I am on fire for Jesus and then commit a very dumb sin, feel extremely convicted/ guilty and fall back a thousand steps in my walk. This really scares me!!! Please, Lord forgive me. My heart and soul is willing but my flesh is weak. Please have mercy on my soul and others here whom love you but are also struggling. Praise, Jesus!

I’m a filthy, rotten sinner, too! But I’m a forgiven, dirty, rotten, sinner, who has been born from above by the Holy Spirit. My heart’s been changed by the horrible things I’ve been through in life and I can see how God used these things to give me wisdom and strength and bring me into a true relationship with Him. WOW!!! The last bit about the lukewarm Christian? SO TRUE!! You put into words how I always felt in my addiction. I ALWAYS felt guilt and could never fully "enjoy" my sin. I hated it. But that hatred for my sin is what made me cry out to God on a daily basis, asking for deliverance. And tho it took a decade, He finally freed me. Praise our Almighty God forever and ever. Amen

This is so true. My mom died from alcoholism, her mother had a long period of drunkenness and HER father was a drunkard...I (my mom's daughter) went thru an entire decade of drunkenness and many years of drug addiction before the Almighty God broke those chains of addiction in my life. Now, my aunt, who is my mother's sister, who has struggled with alcoholism her entire life has found herself in the grip of the Almighty, as He is calling her back into the fold. Brothers and sisters, please pray for my aunt. She is fighting an uphill battle, with many more decades than I of addiction. Please keep her in your prayers, that she would continue to seek the Lord and submit to Him. Thank you all, and may the God of GREAT mercy and grace, shine His face upon you and be gracious to you, and give you His shalom (His peace) in Jesus name. Amen.

I faced a consequence of my sin, one I will never forget, and that's the point...... Visiting my family in Michigan after almost 9 months of of diving into God's word, with the spirit speaking to me, guiding me, leading me, and an indescribable sense of peace in my heart, I met up with a woman I had been thinking about for quite a while. Quite often as we were together 10 years before that, I had the "what if" going on with me. She came to my mothers and we started talking, and it was like we had never lost touch, although we hadn't spoken to each other in years. I wanted her, and the spirit said NO. At this time I was 40, alone, never married, and where it came from I'm not sure, but I became..... frantic. This great fear fell upon me that I might be "alone" for the rest of my life. I became angry. I was really mad that he said NO. As he tried to calm me down, I began to break apart, if you will. At one point I even told him that I wanted her, and not him. I felt like he wasn't being fair. I was diagnosed at 27 years of age as bipolar type II. So many things had happened up until that point of finding out something was wrong. Being beat up at school in my younger days, panic attacks, and just terrible things that I did, and that people did to me, and what I TRIED to do in retaliation. I never ever got to have my "revenge", so to speak. I remained an Atheist until I turned 38, and everything completely fell apart. My life; EVERYTHING. I had that moment where I was at my dining room table, alone and crying like I did when I would go to sleep as a child. At that exact moment, the very words that left my mouth I never thought would, ever..... "God, please help me!" Everything just STOPPED. The anger, the sadness, the hatred of my own life just immediately stopped. And so it went where I just dove into the word. I looked up every preacher I could lay my eyes on online, like John McArther, for example. There's some really bad ones, too so we need to watch out for that. I went to my family's church, and the pastor just walked up to me and said that my 8 year old cousin was being baptized, and asked me if I wanted to as well. I was baptized that following Sunday by the Pastor, and my uncle who is a Deacon in the church. It was like everything just started to come together like this giant 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle spread on a table just being pieced together slowly, but surely. I left for Michigan and there she was, like she was being dropped in my lap, and then the Spirit said NO. I went after her anyways. We fornicated, we smoked marijuana together, and we were watching shows that I had cut myself from due to their nature. Up until that point I was only listening to Christian music (mostly from the 1990's) and Christian programming. It all came undone when I started seeing her. What I did was not her fault. As the Spirit warned me not to be with her, things were still looking good, though, or so I thought. We were looking at wedding dresses and rings, and it seemed maybe I was getting a pass on it...... I WASN'T. She told me that SHE was feeling like God was telling her not to be with me. You see.... she listened to him where I didn't. She broke it off from me. Then...... hypomania fell on me. Even when my doctors tried to "up" my medication NOTHING worked. It got worse, and worse. Not to mention that the Spirit was no longer speaking to me, but he let something else take over. That..... voice.... unless you've ever heard a demons voice you can't know what it's like. 7 months, everyone. 7 months I had to deal with this. I parked my car in my garage. I taped off a shop vac vacuum hose to my exhaust, and taped it off on the passenger side window. I was ready. I thought God was done with me. I thought I was finished. I had fasted numerous times, and prayed for God to forgive me over that 7 months repeatedly, but it kept going. I was waiting for the night to come, but then when night came...... it stopped. The "voice" stopped. The hypomania was gone. I didn't even know what to do at that point. Three days earlier I was given a dream.... I was standing outside of my grandfathers barn like I did when I was child. I had walked up the stairs to the second floor, and the staircase disappeared. It was pitch black, with the doors open on the other end, and a light shining through to the floor. The floor was rotting out from underneath itself, and this great fear was over me. I tiptoed across and when I got to the open doors there was a great chasm separating me from the other side. There was a crane on the right side of the chasm, and I grabbed a hold of the wires connected to a hook. I put my foot into the hook, and swung to the other side. Just as I landed on my feet, I was in front of the barn again. I don't know why, but I went up the stairs again. When I reached the top, it was the same scenario...... the stairs were gone, it was dark, and the doors were open on the other end with the light shinning through. The floor looked even worse than before, but there were plywood squares like you'd use for flooring placed just far enough away to jump from one to the other, which I did to get to the other side. I got to the doors, and the chasm was still there, but the crane was gone. I backed up, and took a running start and jumped. Just as I landed on my feet on the other side, I was in front of the barn again. Why??? I found myself going up the stairs AGAIN! The stairs disappeared again, and this time I'm fearful of what's coming. I can see it. The floor is giving way, and there's no way out. I'm on my hands and knees, shaking, crying, and I couldn't get out. I started to move forward on my hands and knees in desperation just wanting this to end, and the floor gave out. I fell. It was barley a fall, though. There were totes and blankets all over the place as I landed on my back, and even as I looked up and saw how far I had fallen, I didn't get hurt. My crying had stopped, and the light was shinning from the hole above me. Then a very familiar voice said to me..... "I will always be with you." "I will NEVER leave you." In one hand that was open from the fall, two blue coins fell from the opening of the flooring above. I was ready to die. I was ready to kill myself during our Father's chastening of me. Will I ever KNOWINGLY disobey him AGAIN when he tells me no? When YOU are being chastened by our father, know this..... he will NEVER leave you. He will NEVER stop loving you, but when we sin against him...... we will be CORRECTED. If he tells you no, there's a reason. It might be the hardest thing you will ever feel like you are facing at that moment, but you must LISTEN TO HIM. My love to all my brothers and sisters in Christ, and to those who don't know him yet...... He's waiting for you.

I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation. But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏 I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. *Keep believing even when it's hard* 🙏❤️🙌🔥👆🏼😊 *All things are possible with God*

I used to be bullied and beaten in youth, by so many, I gloried in my curiousity, and so many teased, then beat then targeted me in cruelty for so many years, Sometmes,i thought it would be best to just disappear someway... but always found strength to deal with it, to carry on.... throughout life. i used to walk on my weekend off of family work to go fishing, and at sunset, shook my fist at the sky, and talked and talked, ..... and shared..... and thought.... and wondered, and hoped for His word, but over life....i heard it, like a subliminal voice in my head, when I thought of some things,i knew the answer, when i desperately needed help wheni just couldnt do 'it' anymore, strangers or circumstances would intervene and save me...God does speak to you, in many ways, through many people, and their minds. therefor i must thank you today, i love you. for your discussions here

That’s amazing! When I was in my darkest moments, suffering severe depression because I was feeling sorry for myself because of what my life had become, not accepting that it was all my doing. God said three words to me too, He said “Don’t cry wolf” in an instant I knew what he meant and from that moment on I took responsibility for my life, for my sins, confessed my sins and gave my life to Him.

This really convicted me because I have been struggling with sexual immorality and your right I’ve been miserable and just depressed with myself and I Thank You for telling me to be holy and warning me of my actions

I am a Luke warm Christian. I go to church, I've memorized the beatitudes, I say the right things. But I commit awful sin every day. I pray ask for forgiveness for the sin, but I commit the same sins the following day or that night. its getting to the Point where I'm starting not to feel that sorry. And that terrifies me. There's even a part of me now telling me to stop typing this and that its a waste of time. But your video is showing me that what I'm doing is completely wrong everything about how I'm going about it. I thank you so much! I feel that God has brought me to your video and its a blessing. A key thing here is 'worth.' -Is eternal life worth it? -Are eternal rewards worth it? I suppose they are. -Is Christ worth it? Oh, yes He is! Do you know something: the word 'worship' comes from an older form: 'worthship', seemingly meaning to ascribe or recognize worth in something. There is no ultimate satisfaction in this world. You only find that in the ultimate Being, God. There is no way we can make Him owe us. But He loves us: and sent His Son to die for our sins - to pay the wages of sin on the cross, and bear the righteous justice - the wrath - of God in our place. The ultimate Being, Creator of our world and us: do you think He knows what He's doing when He commands you to do something? Do you think His commands come from a place of love? --- So, in your life, what's worth it? What is worth placing over Him? Time and again I think you'll find two things: -Sin never is worth it -Jesus always is In Romans 12, Paul writes of not being conformed to this world, but rather 'be transformed by the renewing of your mind': -Recognizing what is true, not merely acting by feelings -Renewing your mind (ongoing action, not a one&done deal) in the truth Ray Comfort put it well, I think: When's the last time you ate?
