I flew this aircraft from 1999 until 2007 in the Gulf, of Mexico, logging over 4000 hours working as a line pilot and a Checkairman. She can be a beast to fly but when everything was working she was a dream. I never had to make a single engine offshore approach but it was nice to know I could have. We did not have the strip gauges, but traditional round gauges
