I bought this in the RSD Mojo (white, carbon fiber) edition - it's truly the best helmet I've worn in my 40 years of riding! I ride 2 Harleys but prefer white for visibility.
Still rocking the Bullitt TT, the original Chad's color scheme. 9 years an counting, sharing it with other two Bullitt helmets, Stripes with bubble shield and the Gloss Black. Best looking and most striking of all vintage retro helmets, including Biltwell Gringos.
This helmet needs to come down in price. I bet you it would be a selling hit if it was $250 new. It just goes to show that Bell is too optimistic about them with the redicilous price, putting people off this helmet. A plain black Bell Bullitt goes for $250, but painted ones are just over the top expensive, so this clearly tells me they still make well enough profit at that price.
According to retailers they are selling well, so I don't see them coming down in price anytime soon. There are some colors that have closeout sale prices, you might want to look at those but you cant be picky.
I'd buy it if they could make it have less shitty ergonomics, and a better safety rating. i buy helmets for protection then beauty, not beauty and hopefully i don't hit a car going over 15mph.
Why is there music with vocals playing behind his great designer who's words alone are enough entertainment. Cancel the damn sound track - at least until he's done speaking. That said, I just bought three.
