There were many thousands of Bell & Howell 16mm projectors sold over the years to schools, businesses and individuals. These machines were manufactured between about 1961 and 1988, so they're quite old. It's well known that they have failing (or failed) worm gears, and slipping drive belts.
Even so, many film enthusiast still think that once one of these is refurbished, there's no better way to view your vintage 16mm films. This video should help anyone wanting to replace a bad belt in the B&H 500-2500 models. Thanks for looking.
