I love mossy ground like that too! In fact, on the Winter Solstice when I went caching with a friend we saw a couple places that were like that! Looks like you found a good number of caches on this trip!

We have seldom seen such a carpet of moss like this one. You were lucky to see a couple of places around your place. Yes lots of caches on that walk more than usual for us when travelling. Haven't counted the whole trip but I guess around three a day.

Such a lovely day's geocaching, yes! We have certainly 'cleared' the area of Geocaches, however, I do not have a clear memory of doing so........Worrying. We have met Blue Jay a number of times at events and 'in the field'. She is a really excellent Reviewer and we are extremely grateful for her dedication to the hobby and putting up with my 'idiosyncrasies' for want of a better word......lol. I can clearly remember eating blackberries with you guys in the mega hot Mountains of Mourne. Many thanks for sharing your adventures and insipration to keep going. Such an amazing hobby!

I miss Geocaching on a trail in the woods. I think I will be able to do more this year now my health is getting better and will hopefully have more time as well. It certianly won't be in Ireland, but it will be nice to be out there in nature. Lovely video as always.

Thanks, good that you will be able to get out into the woods more. We loved going through the forest there. They say there are a lot of deer there but unfortunately we didn't spot any. Midday is probably not the best time of day to see them but we had to move on.

Is that pine or spruce? Great bird shot! Nice cache series. Too bad you couldn't lay claim to the house but upkeep, whew!

Google tells me it's one of the pine family but not sure of its actual name. Spruce sounds good. The upkeep is huge. A few years back a pipe burst in the ceiling due to the cold winter weather. A relatively small area of the ceiling needed repair, cost €30,000
