this was really comforting to hear, because I had just applied through a program through my job, and i got accepted within 2 hours so i was nervous! but hearing you have such a positive experience was so nice to hear. Thank you!
I just enrolled for the cybersecurity undergrad program as well starting in June 2021. How many classes are you taking? I want to just start with the Intro to Cyber Threats course and then ramp up after that in order to keep my GPA up.
@@junior17medval wow I didn’t even realize I had any replies to this. The program was actually pretty solid. I couldn’t devote as much time as I anticipated so I had to withdraw, but I will most definitely go back when I have the opportunity. You should go for it
Hey man thanks for the information! I am considering the online B.S. in IT. Would you happen to know if the professors post lecture videos or stream live lectures? I think I study better with visual materials than reading only. Congrats and stay safe!
For the IT program not sure. In my MBA I had one class that posted videos of recorded videos. Any other class the professor elected to create a video or set up zoom sessions. I have not had a professor that wasn't wiling to help or meet during their office hours. I do not know of any program that offers live lectures. Just my experience.
Awesome! Best of luck! Strongly recommend you network within Target while completing your program to increase your chances of getting a job in S/W development or promoting if already there. Something I wish I would have done or wish was included in these specific programs.
If the class requires some type of "proctor" you will download a third party software, in my experience and from what I remember it was the honor system mostly.
I will get my Associates in web development next year. I'm attending a community college in Illinois. I noticed they offer a web development program but I'm not sure if my credits will transfer. I also noticed they charge about $500 per credit hour if you take classes online.

I notice that Bellevue University has accelerated degree programs, I am wondering if you used that and how many hours of homework you did per credit hour because I am thinking about going in the future and want to know if I'll be able to take 15 credits per semester while working 25 hours per week.
The cohort format (accelerated) is doable while working full or part-time. Depending on the degree your hours of study will vary. I did a cohort graduate program that required 20+ hours of study per week but that didn’t apply to other programs. In this video I was doing a traditional program of two classes at a time and It was less than 20 hours per class but sometimes was more because of workload. Hope this helps.
@@jeremiahmeade710 Cohort programs at the graduate level are 1.5 years, 1 class at a time, 6 weeks long, and with some breaks in between. Traditional programs at the graduate level are 2 years I believe, 2 classes at a time, 12 weeks each, and breaks. I’ve done both; its possible while working full-time.
It depends on the class. Some are simulation based, some are discussion boards and papers, and some are mixture. Yes you will have to write papers but not as much compared to other programs. Finance is an example of not having to write papers and using simulations; you may have to write a reflection of sorts. Hope this helps!
@@thesagecc ok because I'm thinking about enrolling into Bellevue University and checking out there MS in Security Management program. So I just want to know ahead of time.
I'm considering Bellevue to finish my bachelor's and looking to start in January 2021. Did you do the cohort program? I've seen several reviews saying the professors weren't there for the students, was that your experience at any point?
I am currently in a graduate level cohort and have no issues with the professors. For my bachelors it was a cohort as well and I had no issues. All faculty that I have interacted with has been helpful and pushed me, in a good way. I think what people do, unfortunately, is wait until the last minute to ask for help and thus making an emergency for a professor that has 100+ students in different classes. Best of luck! Pleas let me know if it helps.
@@thesagecc My employer offered me full paid tuition and decided to take this opportunity, I work 50 hours, mother of 2 toddlers and its been 11 years since I have been in collge. Do you feel its realistic for me to jump in to the Cohor Business Analysis and Management program? I am worries there will be tons of exams or papers due and its been some time since I have done that .. but I want to begin cohort program because I am passionate to continue my education and short amount of time online ....I just want to know if you would do it if you were me?
@@kristinemartinez3752 Hi, I don’t have experience with the business analysis and management program however, I recently finished a second masters with Bellevue in cohort form. In my cohort there were several parents and our expected workload in a research based program was 20-30 hours per week. That being said I do not expect you to have THAT much work in a business analysis and management program; if they can do it in a research based program than I feel CONFIDENT you can do it in the program you are seeking! The good news is most professors are VERY understanding IF you communicate. Do your work in chunks not at the last minute and before you know it, you will be walking across the stage! Another benefit of doing it now is recognizing how much you can stretch yourself… think of promotional opportunities that will require more bandwidth. This experience will prepare you for heavy workloads. Hope this helps. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Hi there, I am not familiar with their psychology program but I believe it is aligned with CACREP which puts its stamp of approval on quality programs. I would compare this program to others that have received similar stamps of approval from third parties. Lastly, make sure your the program will transfer to any other schools you intend to go to, help with your end goal, and any licensure requirements if that is your end goal. Hope this helps.
