Answering some of the most frequently asked questions in regards to the programs. I hope it helps. :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VLrbuFw1ZoI.html
Congratulations on your accomplishment!!!I appreciate you doing a review after you completed. I work for Walmart and do feel I'm sitting on a blessing with some of the benefits they offer. Time to start exploring what I can do with my career here
I’m thinking about going back to school threw Walmart further myself because I gotta I’ve worked for Walmart for awhile this year December 13th it will be 10 years for me
Thank you for this video. I have my AA in business and have been with Walmart for 3 months. I currently applied for the guild thing for LSU and Bellevue. I’m convinced this is a blessing in disguise. I’m 27 and don’t see myself attending a university or going to classes in person. Walmarts offer for free online tuition is very appealing.
Update: all courses offered by Live Better U is covered 100% by the company as of August. Any other questions or comments, feel free to leave feedback. Thanks.
I heard about it. I was about to apply to Starbucks but walmart's 100% coverage is was better. I got an offer already to start the 5th as personal shopper lol
@@bradymartin7566 the only catch is that you stay employed by Walmart and you’re able to enroll in any of the programs they offer which there is now several through different colleges.
Hey I was planning to take the same major in supply chain but I was wondering do you take a lot of math in that major? Like a lot of math classes or related like finance or accounting ? Great video and thanks!
As far as I know, you were opted to either attend graduation or do it virtually. Unfortunately guild doesn’t cover travel expenses or hotel for attending graduation. You would receive an email to register for graduation prior to completion of the program.
New update today the program is now free guild keeps calling me but I dropped the class and decided not to do it as it doesn't align with my goals. I don't want to be a business management , or supply chain , or IT security. These things don't motivate me to go Bellevue University.
To answer some. You have to stay with Walmart until you finish the degree or certifications if you don't you'll pay a big fee because your not with Walmart. But once you complete the program you can leave Walmart but with there discount cards, 401k, health insurance, discount on cars and able to relocate anywhere in the world... do you really wanna leave Walmart and your able to move up in Walmart. To a desk job making $25-30 hourly.
And there's alot more benefits than what I had covered. And being with a Walmart family is just the best feeling ever!... Give me a W! Give me a A! Give me a L! *Do the wiggle* Give me a M! Give me a A! Give me a R! Give me a T! What that spells? Walmart! Who's Walmart is it? Our Walmart! Who's number 1?! The customers!!!
I was thinking this bc the careers I’m interested in that Walmart offers (which is very few) will land me a job making $19 or maybe $21 an hour….huh? I make $17 rn so why should I put in the effort for school (which I already hate) to earn a few more dollars, than do bare minimum here, but at the same time I do want a career and not jst a full time job forever
With my incentive I make around $40/hr as an order filler at a Walmart distribution center. It is an entry level position with no prior experience needed. It's a great job if you have a DC somewhat close to where you live.
okay so i’d only be eligible to do this through the colleges they have available? or can i do this through the community college i’ll be attending in the fall? (great video btw and congratulations on graduating)
I have an associates degree and was thinking about doing this? So you start new classes each 6 weeks you said? So would I be able to finish my last 2 years of school fairly quickly?
I’m about to start Bellevue for Bysiness management and leadership in the summer. Going through Guild is it totally free. I’m a bit confused to why I had to apply for financial. I also had a total of 84 credits transferred there which I’m happy about.
Hi, thank you for making this video. 1. Do you know where can I see on the website how much time does a degree/course takes? For example computer science. 2. Do you know if that program is only for US citizens?
Anyone who works at Walmart can enjoy this benefit. As long as you have employment authorization and social security card you can work there. you don't need to be a citizen but you need to be legally in the country
So whats the catch bro? How long do you have to stay with walmart after finishing? And are all the degrees related to walmart? Thanks! Just started a few weeks ago at walmart
I want to work at Sam's Club because I like the idea of going part-time and going back to school I want to go for human resources anyway what I'm trying to figure out is do I have to wait a certain amount of time like is it immediate as soon as I'm a hired I can start going back to school or do I have to wait 6 months to a year I wouldn't assume that only full-time employees can apply because most employees are part-time but still I can't seem to get an answer to this question and I did call the manager which I feel terrible for because I feel like I'm yanking this guy around and I don't want to do that looks bad on me
@@MiGalaga I was told by a hiring manager from Walmart that it was 3 months but it didn't seem like she was sure though when I did look at the website it did say immediately upon hire as you said after orientation
Unfortunately the program only supports up to a bachelor´s degree. Once you’ve obtained a bachelors degree, you’re no longer eligible to take part in any more ulearn benefits.
So these degrees are legit !? Like I want to study criminal justice and guild offers it. But I'm afraid if I get the degree and try to apply for any law type job that they will say no. 😔
The universities they are attached to are accredited. College credits are college credits, it doesn’t matter how big or small the university is. I’ve researched the school and program I’m going into and it looks like there’s room to move ahead with a masters in the future if I transfer
hi bro thanks for the video i have some quastions for you if you allow me to do that ? because actauly i wort at walmart as associate and i will be promoted as a team leal maybe in 2 months and i want de do one of the education program that they suggest, i am in the begining of my searchs i don't have many ideas about this program, i want to do somthing related with INVENTORY MANAGMENT, if you can help me to know more about the program i will appreciate that thank you and good luck
Hello Lulu. Some colleges do offer the accelerated programs to finish faster. However, you would be required to possibly take 2 classes simultaneously. You would have to reach out to your academic advisor when you enroll for more information on which programs offer an accelerated plan.
I believe students that lived close to the campus were opted to attend in person classes. When you apply for the program you’ll be contacted by an advisor and you would have to inform them that you’re interested in attending in person class instead of online.
