Wow, Marcelo tossed off those high B's and C's with complete ease. Wonderful. I had never heard of Giusy Devinu before this performance, and she was incredible!!

Alvarez here reminds me of the young Pavarotti. Soprano also superb, and the supporting cast. Nowadays it is unusual to see opera in full costume, due to financial contsraints.
