rich strike feels right here after that ky derby perfomance plus i think he's the best closer of all the horses in this field. the extra distance will do him wonders.

The Belmont has not usually been won by deep closers. It favors horses which can stalk the pace and stay the mile and a half.

@@racefan1951 Rich Strike was just hitting stride as he finished the Derby, he's going to blow this field away in the last 1/4 mile

@@tonyzanowic7442 I'm not saying he can't win. I just feel he benefited from the suicidal pace in the Derby. I think the pace in the Belmont will be much slower making it harder for the come from out of it horses. Also, Belmont is a tricky track to ride if you've never ridden there before. Jockeys tend to move too soon on the wide final turn. I wish him the best, he's a great story, but I think he'll be overbet.

Definitely Rich Strike. We The People had a great race last out but it was a G3. Rich Strike beat the best 3yo in the Derby.

I’ve seen a few comments about RS ; and a few other potential winners winning by many lengths; this mile; and a half race will not be won by many lengths but by a length; or less. This field should be more competitive than the Kentucky Derby because most of the competition has matured since the first leg of the triple crown; and the Preakness.

#6 Mo Donegal straight up to win. Exacta #6 over 3, 5, 8. Try to get some value underneath.

Have to stick with Rich Strike-the trainer held him out because he said he can get the distance-Got to put some bucks on him. Probably wheel him in the exacta and paly a few superfectas. Do a $5 wheel in the exactas. Do a $3 wheel in the trifecta and then several straight superfectas. He's rested and I like that.

Rich Strike will win going away! He was just hitting stride as he finished the 1 1/4 mile Derby. He will blow this field away in the last 1/4 mile, and don't be surprised if it looks a little like the 1973 Belmont
