I've barely heard of the guy, but this was great. He knew when to rebut the joke, when to take it on the chin, and when to take a swing at himself for good measure.

I love him. And his books.

Didn't mind Ben's demeanor and rebuttals up against the jokes. Usually they just giggle like a little schoolgirl inbetween jabs.

I feel like this guy compensates by talking louder and more (although he made a damn good point about satire)

Mr Elton's inability to "play along" was a bit annoying. Yes mate, we know you're good.

For those who don't know, Ben Elton is an ENGLISH FUCKING LEGEND.

Ben is so clever he actual just made Tom look unfunny in this one. Hard to do.

For a comedian he seems to have taken Hard Chat too much at face value...

I didn't really like this hard chat, this guy was far too defensive and unfunny... Especially for a comedian.
