I remember years ago seeing a segment on this tenor, who was then a semi-finalist in the Met National Council Auditions, and being shocked when he was not later announced as a winner. To my ears this is an excellent, exciting, and special voice used intelligently. Much admiration and wishes for continued success.

I am speechless ! I've heard the greatest ones singing these 2 arias : Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras, Lanza... But rarely with such power and voice control ! Greetings from Malaysia !
@@BenGulley Ottima tecnica. Be careful though, sometimes your voice goes backwards You must pronounce the vowels and also the consonants well, which help you to lighten your throat. And NEVER pronounce single consonants as if they were double (For example two L's or two S's if they are single - "solo" and not "sollo".) ALWAYS pronounce the double consonants instead ("A te il pensier veRRà, veRRà ). Forgive me if I took the liberty of giving you this advice, but you have too beautiful a voice not to sing in perfect Italian.
Ciao Ben sei bravissimo una voce grande bella squillante e sai cantare molto bene in ah si ben mio soprattutto,hai fatto messa di voce difficilmente udibile…. La stretta con grande forza e eroicità cantando tutte le frasi prima dell acuto….. arriverai in alto e te lo meriti… this is very good Tenor…..good work….

on the plus side, the voice is large and displays unique colorings; on the other hand, I’m not sure I enjoy the very tight, fast vibrato. but these days, we need true dramatic tenors, so please keep improving and performing.
I wouldn’t call the vibrato fast. If anything he has to worry about developing the dreaded wobble. Also the intonation tends towards sharp. Bravo for singing with the chorus, though. Tenors usually leave a gaping hole where the ‘Madre infelice…’ line is.
Magnifico. Soy yo el único que ve tintes de Pavarotti ???. Por supuesto, cada uno con su timbre, pero su canto me hace recordar al mejor tenor de todos los tiempos.

@@BenGulley venga in Italia, mancano sempre tenori validi, con un repertorio giusto, avrà molte possibilità di riuscita, anche se guardiamo molto alla pronuncia.
