In honor of Ben Harper's birthday on October 28 - as well as his recent release of his first ever entirely-instrumental album, Winter Is For Lovers - we're revisiting his acoustic cover of John Prine's (by way of Blaze Foley) "Clay Pigeons."
This clip originally aired as part of episode one of Whiskey Sour Happy Hour presented by BGS and Ed Helms, a series benefitting MusiCares’ COVID-19 Relief Fund and personal protective equipment and supplies through Direct Relief.

Why do people say John Prine tribute? He covered the Blaze Foley song. The tribute should be for Blaze. Nice work though!

RIP Blaze Foley and John Prine. 2 legends. Blaze was amazing on the writing of this one. Good job here BH paying the song cover respect :)
