He said later that he regretted making a score for a film about bitcoins as he got several demands from cryptodumbasses for other projects, to which he was ethically opposed (nft and things like that)
I've listened to his music in the bg while I do zoology/biology homework for soo many years now lol. Puts me in a sciencey mood. Now I major in marine science in college. Thx Ben! :)
As a small composer of music myself and as a complete lover of EDM, chillout, industrial, etc., including mixes with non-electronic instruments... I really couldn't give attention to this well-made album, so here are my favourite ones: - Explanations (somehow reminds me 8-Bit Armies, and fun fact that Frank was working with the same vibe in 2016, while I was looking for the same instruments that year) - Tech (some sort of Star Control Origins in it, at least) - The Exchange (very short, but for me it is just a beautiful track with no empty places) - Network Node (can't say much about why it is so cool, maybe because of that FM-synth that was used for sure in Dune II, and it really adds deep feeling into composition, very concentrated track) - Nakamoto Mystery Hour (dark and deep sound, I love it, for dangerous zones in videogame it is certainly "must have") - Charlie's Mistake (for building, for hard coding, I like some rhythms between ambient for more concentration, and it just kind of lifts you up) - Glitch (and here chillout music partially goes) - When This Is Over (goes pretty well with Minecraft too) It was just a different experience, nothing new, but no boring sound. Ben did a good job with ambience, that's all.
