There’s an old ashkenazi proverb from old Europe and NY: “give me the boy until he is of seven years and I’ll show you the man.” True, as a psychological study found that 94% of subconscious attitudes and behaviors are formed by the age of seven. Research it if you’d like, pretty interesting stuff.
Itakes perfect sense. One asked if he thinks about conversations and what he should have said over and over again and the other asked about past mistakes. It's not the same thing.
Makes sense to me. He spends his life in pursuit of knowledge precisely because he loathes making mistakes; in a way, he spends his life running away from mistakes. Therefore, since we all make mistakes every so often, those few that he does make occupy all of his mental time spent staring at the ceiling, waiting for sleep to come.
The good thing is I learn from my supposed flaws, and am actually working in the healthcare industry with adults with disabilities. I am also strangely energetic while at work
@@bonjourzere9358 he was grinning when he said it, being self aware of the meme he is. He’s intelligent enough to know he makes mistakes, anyone should be right?
@@jacookie9707 the implication is everyone disagrees with one another because that's a natural humane response.. although it's not respectful in general to even subtly pressure one to forcefully/disregardingly push your idea down another.. but that's another topic lol
Fellow INTJ here! “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” "No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth." “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”
I think he is definitely entj he was too cocky and rash answering the questionnaire, he is definitely an extrovert he talks like a million miles per hour
@@tc98826 yes I agree with u the fact that he reiterates “community” and “traditional” and his views about marriage confirm it or he could be dark. Primarily, istj because he uses Fi to be express it strongly and inferior Ne cause he can be a little close minded and has a fixed view on everything
@@YourMom-iy6cv I dunno about ISTJ. "facts dont care about your feelings" is the most inferior feeling statement ever. He definitely has values but they're more social than personal. He doesnt have a subjective value system, he always makes appeals to objectivity and reason when talking about morality. Te dom imo. In terms of close-mindedness and Ne: Ben is obviously opinionated and follows a clear morality structure. But he does respond quickly and easily to new trends and finds humour in them. Eg he did a whole video where he showed off his knowledge of woke vocabulary and he knows a lot.
@@tc98826 “facts don’t care about feelings” shows strong Te and Si. But I can see ur right cause he talks rapidly fast and seems to a people orientated community-orientated humanitarian
Yeah most of the time i end up being everybody's emotional dumpster I have my own problems and getting overwhelmed by problems i cant solve In conversations if everything is silent 1v1 conversation wide i get anxious thinking im the awkward one so i may ask a question to get the ball rollin but in a group i prefer to spectate and listen like a shy shadow lying in the background unnoticed
Everybody makes mistakes and I really hope he's joking but if he's partly serious that's not confidence that's lack of humility and it's a horrible feature lmao
1:35 You often rely on other people to start a conversation and keep it going. Ben: *sees a rock* "So you're a Democrat?" Rock: *starts trembling in fear*
However, a few questions later, he said something about his past mistakes. I do admire that Ben has the balls to be his true self, no matter what people think. In this day and age, that's hard to do with all the criticism and PC crap going around. I get in trouble for being a little like Ben. I find that I have to bite my tongue a lot. This exercise was fun, and it was nice to see Ben in a more relaxed, fun mode. I also just discovered some of his violin-playing You Tubes, which I am loving!
Long has the Internet been waiting for this moment. When it met Ben, he was but the learner, but now *he* is the Master. SJW: "Only a master of trolling, bigot!"
INTP : "i concurr, but don't forget that truth is nothing but a concensus. A useful concensus, and often near impossible to argue about given what we know, but still, it is." Facts matter. But facts should be analysed. The fact that the gender pay gap exists is a fact. But the fact that there are logical reasons for that outside of "muh, misoginy, patriachy" is forgotten, by many. Or not even acknowledged.
It was obvious before the test that Ben is an INTJ (and Assertive not Turbulent), but I still couldn't help but join in with the laughter as the results were read out! Some tests have a more detailed description of an INTJ - I did one and showed the results to my wife and she couldn't stop laughing at how accurately it described me, right down to my most frustrating traits ...
Not even a minute later, question: "You are still bothered by mistakes you made a long time ago" Ben: *Strongly agree* Yeahhhhh......... Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
@@jesperburns A minor mistake or irrelevant mistake can be blown off while major mistakes can bother you for ages. For instance buying a bad meal versus buying a bad house. I wouldn't regret the meal but the house could end up costing you a fortune for years. The fact you didn't think about that means you're not as sharp as you think you are.
4:25 that..... just broke my shell. Honestly. I think I've been holding onto a lot of bitterness over have abusive parents who abandoned me. But this just... this 👏🏻💕 Thank you
this personality stuff is interesting, also the people on personality database website said ben was an ESTJ apparently and there's like a huge debate in the comments about his type. but i haven't really watched ben's videos except for this one so i can't type him, but i mean its interesting to hear different peoples opinions
Yea, well hes definitely not intj, the only ones who say that is only bc he got tested as that, but people who know mbti know for a fact hes an estj, Ni Te over Te Si is crazy
My husband is a lot like him and he's an intj, he's witty and funny and rational and analytical. I'm an infp, I read people well and I'm frequently a mediator in clashes between coworkers. My bosses at past jobs used to ask me to settle conflicts before they become real issues. I figure out social things (even though people exhaust me) and he figures out the plans and makes big decisions and I support him. If he's wrong I'm his therapist, when he's right we celebrate together.
I don't think Ben is getting wittier, I think he's always been funny and is just surrounding himself with a crew who brings it out. The editing on this video is actually prefect!
I mean, he seem to take himself less serious, which makes him more likeable. But that might come from being in a less hostile environment than the "destroys" videos usually were.
He was brought up in popularity for his advanced counter arguments against petty and immoral topics. Its great to see him be known for something else than FEELING BAD FACT GOOD which became repetitive after 4 years. The internet and politics made him depressingly famous and now that he's becoming open and more himself its incredible.
BEFORE I even watch the video, I type you as an INTJ. You seem more introverted, are not as emotional driven, seem to thrive on routine and you're not as spontaneous and you seem to plan out everything. And you are more intuitive and learn by thinking and looking at patterns and see the bigger picture. You tend to put thought behind most of what you do. Yup I'm calling it INTJ. My husband is also one. I'd be DAMNED shocked if you're not one. --+-- YES!!!! Just finished the video and I called it!!!! I used to tease my partner and was like, "hey babe, it's your twin" whenever we watched Ben Shapiro. 😂 I've always been drawn to INTJs and I ended up marrying one. I'm INFP btw 😄
Ben’s kid: Can I have candy Ben: No, 100% of cases of obesity are from people that eat food Ben’s kid: *cries* Ben: Facts don’t care about your feelings

@@declaracionespolemicas I don’t know where you got those statistics, but I am inclined to disbelieve them. I trust the “16personalities” website. In the Country Profiles section of the site, INFP stands as the most common personality type in the USA with a 12.08%. Seeing as there are 22 million respondents in the US, it ranks as one of the most popular websites to test your Myers Briggs personality type. @@kbxbrdrwell those statistics are also wrong buddy, the test isnt accurate at all and types you based off questions, and doesnt type you using cognitive functions, so i call cap ty
Im an ENTJ, so it was pretty crazy to watch Ben take this test and say basically the same things that I did. I think the only difference would be that I'm slightly more extroverted, but I could've fallen on either side. Crazy how accurate those tests end up being.
@@gigip4727 He is likely an INTJ that is forced to act as an ENTJ for his job. I am an INTJ, and people are often surprised I am introverted. But then they see a completely different me when I am with my friend who is an ENTJ, and suddenly they accept my claims of being an introvert.
@@gigip4727His test result comes from his answers to Qs like: enjoying big vivacious assemblies and longing for social company after a week's work and the like. Idk whether I believe in the grouping that much though; it seems to have more to do with one's level and complexity of inner worlk /activity process and one's nerous energy and state. A complexely hard-working exhausted extrovert is not likely to want extrovert things.
Same. I am also an INTJ-A. My older kids keep making me retake this periodically to see if I’ll ever change as I age. No. No I don’t. Stop asking. Very fun.
Non-native English speakers out there, listen to Ben. When you can understand what he is saying (Ben talks very fast) you will know your English is great 😂.
He didn't destroy the test. He is what he is now. My family has done it, we are all different, I think it's very interesting. Especially when you dig deep and learn all the types, it's extremely difficult to understand. It's way more than the test shows.
The best revenge is to be successful, it's a good way to use your ego for positive actions. Many successful people use insults from the past to push forward. David Goggins specially talks about this
I am still more of the type that wont forgive people but that doesnt mean i remember every insult thrown at me, i have forgotten most of them. When someone does want my forgiveness, i still deem them unworthy of it.

@@rationaloutlook5772 Extroverts do not define themselves by being strong in the public. Extroverts seek stimulation through external factors (especially people). Ben doesn't care about the people around him very much. He does not need their approval. My whole life I thought I'm an introvert, but I'm actually an ENFP - who are very individualistic and enjoy time alone very much, but they still need those connections and communications with the outside world a lot. There are also shy extroverts - those extroverts actually do not want to be shy, they suffer from it, while introverts who are shy don't care so much about it. Obviously the Extraversion is just a scale, so people just live somewhere on the scale and are not binary extroverted/introverted, but Ben clearly tends to low extraversion.
Ben: "Disagree. That is for people who make mistakes." Also Ben: *strongly agrees on 'You are still bothered by the mistakes you made a long time ago'*
@@basharshami3403 being good at talking and public speaking doesnt put an E in there. Besides, the crew totally thought INTJ was totally him, and they have a way deeper look into ben's personal life than we do. People can act very differently in debates and when they are consciously on screen.
@@basharshami3403 He's definitely but definitely introverted, and not extroverted. As an INTP here, and I just realized that a hell of a lot of things that I agreed on, Ben agreed to as well. Which explains why I find the show very interesting. It's a common ground for things I believe in...
@@kbxbrdr Sure, if you blindly believe on Personality Test accuracy 😂 In reality, Ben is totally an ISTJ (or ESTJ), he's a conservative traditionalist with rigid ideas and values, no way he's a Ni dom user. I'm always typed as INTP, we obviously coincide on introvertion and thinking prompts since both types have that in common, but I'm far from traditionalist, detail oriented or organized and care more about ideas and theories rather than just cold facts. INTxs are more open-minded and receptive to change, unlike Ben Shapiro who is a Si-Te dom. Ben is clearly smart and rational, yet he lacks flexibility when debating: he's always right and his way it's the correct way. Defaults to the old proven methods (Si), very opinionated and straightforward with his thoughts (Te), his values are very centered on tradition and his religion (Si-Fi). My dad is ISTJ as well, even if he's not religious and has a different value system than Shapiro, his MO is the same: highly rational and considers himself right on all subjects 99,9% of the time, it's very hard to make him see things from another perspective or to change his mind.
@@declaracionespolemicas INTJ’s are only receptive to change and open-mindedness if the idea is rooted in logic. If the concept goes outside a certain amount of logic, INTJ’s will remain rigid and inflexible on the topic. This may make others think an INTJ is very narrow-minded and one dimensional, but it is far from the case. As an INTJ myself, we can easily flip our entire belief on its head as long as it follows sound logic, and without shame or ego. I don’t know what personality test accuracy has to do with the similarities of INTJ and INTP. If someone is truly of either of these personality types, their lifestyles and ways of thinking will be closely aligned. I do agree that INTJs are not known at all for being traditional. And with anecdotal experience, I think they’re one of the least traditional personality types of all.
