These are some of the greatest plays from NBA bench warmers but they get increasingly better as the video goes on. Business Inquiries: mcosh3@gmail.com
I was in a pickup group with a guy who was a midmajor D1 starter and did a few years overseas, 0 NBA minutes, and he was playing at 30%, anytime he turned it up higher he'd just smoke us all. The rest of us weren't slouches either, these guys are really on another planet.
Played with cam whitmore in middle school and bro at 13 was probably as good as I was sophomore year of high school, basketball isn’t my main sport but I was still pretty decent before I hung it up, there’s levels
@@ivanam.1613 most NBA players are way better than Euroleague players and it ain’t close. most of the NBA players who are currently thriving in the Euroleague are old or simply weren’t good enough to keep a roster spot
He only had 32 actual appearances that year, but he got a full season’s contract out of his performance. Went on to have an unremarkable, but solid career in the league & overseas. Good for him!
I remember him when he was in Jersey. He wasn't that good throughout but boy his first few games were strong enough to get him a year and a half contract and the injuries were piled up enough that he saw action lol
That Jeremy Evans sequence might be the most disrecptpful thing in NBA history, imagine absolutely blocking someones shot like 30 feet down the court and then immediately after posterizing him on the other end of the court all in like 5 seconds....
Guy makes a BACKWARDS touch shot buzzer beater from waist level, one of my favorite shots ever, and all the announcer can say is “GRANDMA SHOT” 😭 maybe if granny is a retired globetrotter
Yeah I really hate that call. A grandma (or granny) shot is just an underhand shot. This is a two-tenths-of-a-second tap to beat the shot clock buzzer. It deserved way better than that weak call.
Fr that shot was impressive, just to have the awareness of where the basket is and touch the ball with the tip of your fingers like a volleyball over your head with one second left on the clock. Yeah it was a lucky shot but he wanted to do exactly that and I bet most of this guys could get a shot like this made fairly often when they're just playing around in practice
Brutal that Cotton from Utah in the clip never stuck in the nba. Undersized for sure but super athletic, quick and a good jump shot. Glad he carved out a career in Australia.
4:35 This is one of the most disrespectful plays I have ever seen. In a five second span this man swatted his shot like he was a child, ran the length of the floor and then dunked on him like it was a Little Tikes basket.
@@nicolaspietrangelo5573 Game 1, western conference semifinals in 2013. As a Spurs fan whose birthday is June 18th, and held a watch party on that day only to witness Ray Allen's game 6 game winner, I will always remember Ginobili making that 3 :(
Yeah I noticed that. They seem to have the same pattern, just faded a lot. Almost like he bought a counterfeit for $20 from an African guy on the sidewalk of downtown New York, along with a fake Gucci purse for his mom 😆
Long suffering Jazz fan here: That Gaines shot was stuff of legend. All of us went from "get Korver the Ball what are you do- ugh who is that gu- HOLY SHIT REMEMBER THE NAME! ... Gabes? Grains? Gains?"
Man people don't understand how good 98% of the NBA is at playing basketball. It's just a lot of times guys have to play their role on the team it doesn't matter how much you kill in practice or in the little time you do get. It's a lot of guys on benches across the NBA who could go to a different situation with more opportunity and average 20+. Look at Cam Thomas last year, they unleashed him for a little bit and he was looking like Dame out there lmao.
This just shows that the NBA is a LOOTTT levels higher, in terms of individual talents, compared to any other league. Even benchwarmwers here can make showtime highlights whenever they feel like it
This is a friendly reminder that your friend who thinks that they might have a chance of making the league or are better than someone in the league. 1) Have no chance and 2)Aren't
I recognized every single one of these guys, calling them out aloud as they showed up (except for Mr. Snyder, LA). Hearing/Seeing Byron Mullens in this day and age is wild! Like hearing Hamed Hadadi or Armon Johnson haha Also you absolutely could have (and honestly should have) had Elliot Williams on this list multiple times though.
