@@SivaKumar-pm2zw I can understand your situation. But not all people go and work in foreign countries. We need to develop our own country as well. If they learn only american accent.. What if they go to another country. Finally everywhere neutral accent is easy to communicate and understand as well. Each country has its own accent, but every where neutral accent works. I am telling this with my 18 years experience. For political aspects they are applying this formula (american accent on kids) for their political benefits which leads to tongue twist fails for the children in their initial stages.

I work in IT industry, I see lot of people having trouble speaking, some one personally telling me how funny we telugu people have English accent. Knowledge is fine but having the confident to speak is the ultimate winner. These kids are very fortunate to have this opportunity at this very young age.

Dear people, I am the chief Manager of one of the public sector banks. In my career, I worked in several states, including abroad. I went to government school for all my studies in Telugu medium, which is why after these many years also I have fear about English to talk, convey, etc I faced lots of criticism regarding my English language skills. Now, this is an excellent move in our state. Please cooperate.🙏
I agree that its an excellent move. But teaching only american accent is not correct. Neutral accent is the best thing which people can survive anywhere. I agree with trollers trolls also for counter attack on american accent.
