Great video, thanks for posting. I went to the Ottawa Boat Show, loved it. Did Len's have a booth at that show? Re: doing a deal, is it wise to buy a boat at a boat show without doing a lake test? Or can deals that are made at a boat show be made conditional on a lake test? Another good thing about the Ottawa Boat Show in February is that while one is at the show, one forgets about winter for a couple of hours.😊

Yes, we have being going every year since the show began! You would definitely want to make sure your deal is subject to a spring lake test. We insist on that and put the condition right on the deal. We also stand behind it a second way through this program: www.lenscove.com/assurance-plan/

Please remember to support your local outboard motor dealers during the current economic crisis. We need them as much as they need us. Get your motors serviced or if you do it yourself buy the parts from your local dealer. Repower your existing boat instead of buying a new or used boat. Without a sufficient dealership locations its the consumer who will suffer. Traveling longer for service and longer wait times to get back out on the water. Also higher prices due to lack of competition. I am not affiliated with any dealer or manufacturer.

Hi Sean, This is off topic, but I watched one of your videos from three years ago about various situations of buying and selling boats in Ontario and the tax requirements. Not sure if i understand it correctly. If I buy a boat from a private seller in Ontario, and drive it across Lake Huron to Michigan and register there, the only tax I will owe is the Michigan sales tax and no Canadian tax? (boat was originally manufactured in USA) Thank you.
