After a lengthy research, due to my car's age, I decided to not go with the expensive OEM Toyota rear hubs on my 1999 Camry. This car is my reliable highway cruiser and goes 400+ miles a week, all highway in the fast lane. Instead, I installed SKF rear hubs which appear to be very, very similar, if not the exact OEM hubs Toyota repackages. After returning fake Timken hubs from eBay (and getting the seller to remove the words "Timkin authorized reseller" from his site), and returning a pair of very cheap Amazon DriveStar hubs as well as a set of Detroit Axle hubs which both had rotational anomalies and even end-play in one of them, I ended up with the SKFs. Both of these hubs felt identical and looked identical even though they did not arrive to my home on the same day come or from the same place. They both had an actual SKF part number on them, which I know can be faked, but usually fakes don't feel as good as these both did, which was also identical. We had the same type of grease in both of them and the same amount of grease. They installed onto my car absolutely trouble-free. The bonus was that they were only $60 each instead of $82 each because they were on sale. This was a win-win and I hope they last as long as the originals did which was 167,000 miles. As a side note, I know new bearings can have what feels like rotational issues when spun by hand, but the end-play and rotational differences within the same brand was enough proof of "Chinese manufacturing process "for me to send them back. I've been-there-done-that too many times with automotive bearings and ball joints to not listen to my personal "crap meter alarm" go off.
