I just bought a stunted out Benelli TnT 135, it looks sick! I bought it used with 3k miles on the odometer. I just changed the oil and it looked black as Venom 😆 Always change your oil when buying a used bike boys👍.
Great tutorial brother. What are your kilometre intervals for oil and oil filter changes. Plus, is synthetic oil a must or minerals would do too? Asking cause got a lot of misinformation and counterclaims as opposed to what the manual for the TNT recommends here in my country.
I'm no professional. (disclaimer😅) That being said some factors I would think about are what's available, cost and how hard you run it. 1st if you go synthetic never go back. 2. Mineral I would follow the recommendations. Synthetic add about 30%-50% oil life. If this makes synthetic cheaper for you and cost is your motive then there you have it. 3. If you spend an excessive amount of time near the redline and constantly floor it this would be considered aggressive driving. If you fall in this category I would change the oil at 50%-75% of the recommended life. 4. With technology today modern oils are pretty comparable to synthetic when it comes to lubrication. However synthetic will retain those properties much longer.
Hey brotha, what is the size of the oil drain plug? I ended up messing mine up and rounded it out and have to use a extractor everything I do oil changes
Sorry I missed this off hand I beleive its 1 liter but I'm in America so I used a quart plus a little more... I always just reccomend going off the oil peek window it has a full and empty gauge on it. Be sure to allow the oil time to drain into the crankcase for an accurate reading. Hope this helps!
I do still have the bike and I was recently playing a little too much and I have to fix some stuff (foot fogs and rear sets) so more videos to come when it's not snowing out.... it's still great! Runs good!
@@alexscarborough6263 I will say there's a significant aftermarket support for groms that you will never get with Benelli. Benelli has seen more aftermarket products since I did these videos so the community is building. I'll check my mileage and get back to you though.
