I had aquablation 3 weeks ago. I'm 71, 108gr prostate. In and out of hospital in 24 hours, catherter removed 42 hours after surgery. No complications, it's good to pee freely again.

@user-eg1sw7kd6g 0 seconds ago I'm on coumadin for a mechanical heart valve. My past surgeries allowed me to go off of the coumadin for 3 days. Is it still possible for me to get the aquablation treatment? If not what's the difference between a the aquablation, holep or TURP procedures when it comes to bleeding? From what I have seen, it is common practice to cauterize any bleeders after the main procedure has been completed. Why is the bleeding (off of thinners) issue so critical for aquablation and not TURP and holep? Thanks
