Hello all, this time we are at Birzebbuga Malta in Benghajsa area. Here me and ANgelo will explore 3 caves, one of which was found by coincidence . These 3 caves are situated in the edge of a cliff and the 2nd one proving to be abit challenging, as its tight and low, in ehich you have to belly crawl.
As always going to such places take your precautions , such as inform 3rd parties your exact location and ready time. Dont go alone and take multiple light sources, apart food and water and the most important your brain, Hope you enjoy
Please subscribe, like and comment and if possible share.
Thanks Pierre Farrugia

Well done once again to both of you ,pitty people leave that rubbish behind . If I were you I would always carry a pair of latex gloves and a couple of empty garbage bags in your pack to pick any rubbish I encounter ,as it will surly eighter remain there or end up in the sea . Every time I go kayaking I end up coming back as a skip unfortunately .

Thanks for the video sharing Pierre and Angelo. A really well done for that latest challenging and deep claustrophobic adventure. I love geological documentaries and this vlog shows quite a lot of ancient rock structure and its evolution. Thanks for all! Good example to keep all places clean too. 👍👍

In 1761, in the district of Ben Ghisa, was discovered a sepulchral cave. In the wall of this cave was a hollow square, in which was cut, in Phoenician characters, the epitaph annexed, which Sir W. Drummond has thus translated: ‘The inner Chamber of the Sanctuary of the Sepulchre of Hannibal, illustrious in the consummation of calamity - he was beloved - the people lament, when arrayed in order of battle, Hannibal. Son of Bar-Melech.’

@@PierreFarrugia Hello Pierre and thanks for your reply. It surely is interesting and fascinating at the same time, I do not know if it is a "urban legend" but a Lebanese tourist once told me that Għar Barka was the base of Hannibal Barka, also utilized as cemetery, given the fact that terracotta sarcophagi intended for the interment of noble people or wealthy landowners, have been identified only in that area.

Search ta kalaka sea cave if you go swimming there you will see 3 cave there are 2 you enter from one and go out side from another one, when I was small we tried it 12 people first go one we were tied with ropes after ten meters another one enter always tied with ropes so if someone fails we can help each other. It was nice experience, this was 30 ago hope inside this shutters nothing change, maybe some rock falls
