Hiya....My daughter flies out next week....but 15 mins ago the UK have now imposed a 14 quarantine for UK travellers coming back fro Spain from tonight (midnight 25th July)....sorry to be the bearer of such bad news considering all the work that you have done in regard to your videos. Paul.

With effect from today- all returning travellers from Spain, including apparently those already there, required to self isolate on return for two weeks. They may not return to work and must remain isolated and at home other than very specific circumstances. Airlines are already cancelling flights.

Think I'll give it a miss this year, but great video love your channel.

TUI cancelled all of Spanish holidays until Aug 9th at present. Another review on 31st July. My partner works for another airline, they will be flying for next few days but most travel insurances will be invalidated due to Spain being on UK government’s no non-essential travel list. Today, my husband was on a Tenerife flight and many people still travelled out against government advice. Some people returning home were angry and hostile towards cabin staff, ripping up or refusing to fill in the new documentation, Immigration and police were ready for them at the airport. I booked our holiday last year and have had it cancelled twice now, awaiting to see what happens on 31st but being honest, even though I could easily work from home for 14 days, not sure I will rebook this year. I may take advantage of the £500 rebooking incentive and try again in 2021. This situation has nothing to do with Reps and certainly not hotel or cabin crew, however frustrating this situation is we shouldn’t take it out on them.

Absolutely gutted. Was supposed to be staying in the Helios for our Honeymoon. The management have been brilliant regards communication. Beautiful hotel.

Back to quarantine after holidays according to news, due to spanish second spike, we will be holidaying at home this year, health more important than suntan.

Unfortunately we are back to square one in the UK 🇬🇧, we can't travel to Spain again 😢

It's looking lovely over there. However, 2 weeks quarantine for people returning to the UK. So I'll maybe see you next year. I'll not be travelling anywhere by aeroplane. I can't say the wearing of face masks appeals either.

On seeing this vid it came as a bit of a shock that the manager of the Rosamar is the former manager of the Rio Park. An absolute gentleman and the Rio under his management was a wonderful place to stay. I notice that the Rosamar appears not to be a group hotel of the MedPlaya group. I ohpe that our visit to the Fio in September will maintain the incredible high standards that were under this gentleman. I wish him Buena Suerte in his new role.

Hi. All your videos are very helpful. Thanks very much! Keep them coming. I just wanted to ask if you know of any wheelchair accessible self-catering accommodation near the beach? My son is a full-time manual wheelchair user, so it’s better for us to be on the flat. Preferably, we don’t want to stay in a hotel as we like to prepare our own food (when eating in). We have looked at private rental sites but have not got many useful responses from owners. Thanks again. :)

Hi stayed at the Helios the first time I went to Benidorm 40 plus years ago !! is the cycle hire shop open at the hotel ? I was booked to go to Benidorm for a month in March till lockdown hoping to visit October 🚴‍♂️

Booked in The Helios for Xmas and The New Year. Hopefully it will happen... If not it will be next year...

Well all holidays to Spain stuffed now, 14 day quarantine on return due to second spike, this will kill Spain’s tourist industry with uk, but health over a suntan and always next year

We are staying at the rosamar on 22nd June, I have heard it's still under refurbishment? I messaged the hotel on facebook and they confirmed re opening on 20th but I've heard mixed opinions on this, are you able to shed any light on when it will be reopening? X

Seen a few videos where customers were asked to wear a mask while seated having a drink. This was on the instruction of the local police. (Seems to be some confusion) I had to goto hospital last week in Manchester and the discomfort/heat of wearing a mask was horrendous. I can't imagine what its like to wear one in that heat. Hopefully it's something you would get used to?

gutted about the UK nonsense shutting it all down again, i have been working like crazy to get some funds together and wanted to come out for 1 week early-mid August which cant happen now as can't afford the two weeks off when i return home.
