He would be 75, if not for the cancer that took him. It was heartbreaking to see him change, and his voice lasted until the end. His classic features and beautiful eyes I believe would have stayed with him much like Paul Newman's did. But we have his music. He is missed.

@@firecracker8071 yes they showed him when The Cars got inducted into the RRHOF in 2018, he looks just like his dad. Sad he looked young when he lost his dad. Benjamin was from my hometown Lakewood Ohio. He is so gorgeous.

I sincerely believe that there is an ache in the hearts and stomachs of his female following. The significant women in his life all had some form of closure….they have their memories, their mementos, even the rare privilege of having been part of his life and holding his heart. Those of us who listened and loved Ben as fans were side swiped when he passed on; just flattened. We feel like we didn’t get a chance to say good bye.

@@BrentMFisher According to her his drinking and his fondness of guns were reasons . He would carry a loaded gun and that bothered her. He also took the breakup of The Cars very hard and he spiraled down. He asked Ric if some of the songs they(Ben and DGP) wrote could be included in the next album Ric said no.
