Anyone that wants to make a video should at least do a little research. The rear QD in the stock is sunk to facilitate the plug that's installed at the factory. Remove the plug, insert a 1/4 hex key and back out the QD Socket a turn. Problem fixed! Go to GG&G to replace the polymer mag tube cover and barrel clamp with an Aluminum offering and you just made a good shotgun great!
What is this supposed to be...some sort of defamation piece? I've had my A300 Ultima Patrol for about 4 months now, shooting it quite often, and haven't found one problem with it. The sights, while not being adjustable had me a bit leery, but they are dead-on at 25 yards with slugs. I installed a red dot anyway. The QD cup on the buttstock works fine. If it doesn't on yours...insert the proper size wrench and back the cup out 1/4 turn. Easy fix. And what's with the 2 guys shooting the A300 Ultima Patrol at the range supposedly shooting the A300 Ultima Patrol? It's not even the Patrol model!
If you're gonna buy one, have them load a couple rounds at the store and unload them. They are selling these with a known lifter issue. If the last shell is getting jamed, it's got the issue. Waiting at least 10 weeks to get it back after shooting once.
Good summary, but there is now an aftermarket pistol grip stock available by Mesa tactical urbino that has cheek riser option too. Rear sling point can be moved to appropriate location by novesky groovetec or SKRP rear mounts.
Got my mossy 940 pro tactical a month ago and have shot 400 plus rounds. Only jamed on me once and that was before i broke her in. Ever since then shes been spitting out all kinds of rounds. Only thing i have to complain about is when trying to load 7 shells or slug shot in the tube. It only fits 6 but it not that bad in my opinion and doesnt prevent me from being a satisfied owner.
