Code: SPN for 10% off Blacksmith Tactical Holsters. My go to is the v2 holster with double discrete carry clips and a wedge. And if you have under a 3.7” barrel, get a wedge!! Respect
The original compact carry did come with Ameriglo night sights….Italy has since changed their laws to not allow tritium, so the compact carry 2 does not come with night sights. You can get them from the US and swap them out though.
Be advised that the PX4 Sub compact performs differently than both the full & compact due to their rotating barrel. The SC makes use of a conventional barrel system. Good luck
I carry that in an axis elite often. Light weight for most da/sa which I wanted for appendix. Da trigger is the best I’ve felt definitely beats my legions.
The subcompact they discontinued was a tilt up and not the rotating barrel. The Langdon carry comp now available with optics for those that just can't live without. That gray color is a Cerakote that to be honest Berreta should make all their finishes with. Bruniton won't hold up to EDC or daily handling.
I have this gun as my EDC. Great gun. If I could go back in time would I buy it again? No probably not. It's my first non-Glock and I love the Glock grip angle and swapping to the beretta and then back to my Glock messes with my muscle memory. I'm not selling it because I'll lose so much money on it.
Idk if it's something about rotating barrels, but I've never seen a really small pistol with that system. Even today the Beretta PX4 and the Grand power pistols are only as small as a Glock 19
I have a full size 40 SW PX4 Storm and it shoots as smooth as any 9mm I own. There is something special about the PX4 Storm series. I wouldn't feel tempted to get the sub without the rotating barrel, though.
I bought the PX4 Compact Carry 2 a month ago and had numerous feeding issues. I found other owners complaining about the same thing for the past couple of years, but don't know if the PX4 sub has the same issue. It has been suggested to clean and lube the gun out of the box before going to the range for the first time. Failure to feed has been a thing with some of these guns. On the positive side it shoots smooth with little felt recoil. Im hopping the issues gets resolved after the break-in period, maybe after 500 1k round.
@@Just1Guy1000 yes I did. I lubed as per the video, but still experienced FTF. Not as much as before. I'm using grease on the barrel notch, which was recommended by others. Haven't been to the range with this gun lately so I don't know if using grease instead of oil on the barrel notch helps. The new mags may also be contributing to the FTF issue. Never had these problems with my Sig P320c. Shot 100s of rounds straight out of the box and only experienced 2 or 3 issues that was on me not the pistol.
I have both 40 and 9mm in compact. They are awesome. I got the 40 brand new about 4 years ago for 300 dollars. I've often wondered if it was priced wrong. Can't remember what I paid for the 9 🤔
If you can pick up any LTT creation at a reasonable price and it is a tool you like... grab it quick. PX4 Compact Carry is amazing imo. Pick up a Springer Precision (or similar) plus mag extension and you can keep rockin'
You’re not finding a px4 compact carry for 400. Not that they’re gaining in popularity, I doubt you can find a regular px4 compact for that much. The sub compact, yeah. But, the subcompact has a regular tilting barrel action not the rotating barrel.
Dang it SPN I’ll sell something to get one. There is one at my local store for 600 or 650 or so. I’ve always wanted one and now people are starting to see their value. Also Italy has weird laws now on the sights.
Keep up with these awesome videos and EFF what any hater says! Because of you i now own A M&P Sheild plus, and STR9SC. I just took them both out to the range and purposely ran 250 rnds through each of them and both went bang every singke time! My next move is the G26 GEN 5 MOS! KEEP EM COMING! Now i gotta see if i can come across a px4 storm
I have one that I purchased 2 years ago. Has been upgraded to what you showed and added a Gray Gun Flat Trigger to it recently. I love the this pistol.
Great pistol! BTW, absolutely nothing wrong with being safety conscious and modeling that on a world wide media platform. Too many people not doing that on social media as it is.
If the decocker would work in the same direction as a manual safety- you have to flip it up to be "safe"- it would be perfect! The way it is configured now, it might screw some "muscle memory".
This one looks like a G model, where there is no safety position. Once it's decocked, the lever springs back. There may not be any of the concerns, such as carrying cocked and locked, manipulation.
This one has the rotating barrel. The subcompact does have the rotating barrel . I would take the Beretta any day of the week 100%. It has better reliability and longevity than the glock.
I just picked up my PX4 fullsize in California for 400, and I just sent out my $100 berreta rebate return that I should get in a few weeks. Going to break in into 1000 rounds and send it off to Langdon tactical right after
That guy changes his carry guns nearly every year and he goes back to Glocks. He also is in love with that guy in AZ that has made a cottage industry charging outrages prices for just tweaking the gun.
@@romans6two338 he’ll….i only have a dozen handguns and I change my EDC every other month 😂😂😂 James also stated a bone stock PX4 kicks any Glocks ass 🤔
Haha yup! See that’s what’s funny, the grip zone actually is like perfect texture wise and is slid Ergonomically… but it gets crapped on for that. Something like this that is a higher end firearm, has nothing but people won’t complain about that… it’s backwards haha. Respect
James Reeves’ take on his new carry gun…..yes…he dropped the Glock for this! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-46gj1yoOQVs.htmlsi=0c8grspqOj-iZAEC
if you're in the cold, dressed in winter clothes and wearing gloves; you should probably just carry a full-size gun.. In those type of conditions and being dressed appropriately its way easier to conceal something larger. Nitpicking the trigger guard is funny but you had to find something wrong with it lol
I just paused it, it says italy...do a Google search, the only Px4 storm made in america is the subcompact (the tiny one without the rotating barrel). All other Px4 storms are made in italy.
@@rcwarrior868 The weapon also incorporates a Picatinny rail under the muzzle to allow flashlights, laser sights, and other accessories to be attached. The full size (including the Px4 . 45 ACP) and Compact versions are manufactured in Italy. The Px4 Subcompact is manufactured in the United States.
Stop gushing about the reliability of the g26 almost every modern semi is as reliable. You ALWAYS turn every video in a commercial. Yeah ive got a 19/17 and 21 but dont carry them , so many better options.
Been recommending the beretta px4 storm compact for a long time I paid $375 for my compact back in 2019 I also have the full size as well trigger is awesome the rotating barrel is money
