I find it takes more than 5 rounds when switching ammo to get it to settle down in my guns. I will normally shoot 20-30 rounds when switching then shoot for groups.
Not overly impressed with CCI but my friends with Win 52s seem to like it. I have had the best luck with the old Norma TAC and the Norma Match and the SK standard and even the Eley Club. My Bergara had the fake carbon fiber barrel and wasn't overly accurate so i replaced it with a Bartlein stainless 24" palma contour barrel (i hate short barrels) chambered in the Eley EPS chamber and shoots in the .400" groups at 100 with Norma match ammo. Lapping the lugs and polishing the cocking piece and and cocking piece bolt notch and a little work on the FP spring and adding a trigger tech diamond trigger set to 4 oz made the rifle a hammer and a pleasure to shoot.
@@Lowballinoutdoorz don't be discouraged it took a few hundred rounds to make the Bartlein cut rifled barrel shoot lights out. but when i let my friends shoot it now they say #$%^&* this son of a B#$^&* can shoot. Holy Crap. I have to say before putting a ton of $$$ into a custom build do youself a favor and buy a nice cond. used from the 60s or 70s Anschutz 54 or a Walther KKM Match rifle because as much as $$ as i have in my Bergara it still won't out shoot either one of the stock German rifles i own. Facts !!.
