I am not against vaccinations. I have had the double vax and the booster. What I am against is adults not being given the option of not having it without being penalised. Everyone should have the right to make their own health decisions. Trudeau must go.

Not one of the "brain trust" in Ottawa saw anything like this coming. The organizers and followers of this "protest" have outsmarted and outdistanced them all. And Candice... it's not "ego" that's involved. It's far more important than that. It's all about whether Canada continues to be ruled by democratic policies and procedures, where if we don't like something, we engage the politicians in a civil manner including voting them out, OR, do we allow ourselves to be intimidated by some group of "organizers", yet mostly unknown, whose aim is clearly to disrupt and likely to disband the legally elected governments and place who knows what in it's place. If the government caves on this, it's the same as trying to pay off a blackmailer... it will never work. Next time they'll shut the entire country down until they've got complete control. Practically speaking, the issue that matters is how strong the hospitals are in each province and territory. If they cannot accommodate the covid patients …who are disproportionately unvaxxed…and the huge backlog of others…then it may be wise to keep up provincial and federal mandates.
