All the years all the mornings we got up with Bernie on the radio will be with all of us forever that is a long time but honestly even all the people who never had a chance to meet him feel his lose today. In closing "God Bless" his family and friends and may he "R.I.P." I get up at 7AM even though I'm retired, and the first thing I do is turn on WABC Radio to listen to Bernie & Sid. I knew there was a problem when Sid said, about a month ago, well, Bernie has been out now for 6 weeks...... and at that moment, I knew he wasn't coming back. Still it was a shock when I got up two weeks ago, and I heard Mr. Cats on the air talking about Bernard. Rest in Peace
Listened to Bernie and Sid everyday for the last few years. Bernie was very intelligent, had a great sense of humor and was street smart. That’s very rare. I also like Sid a lot too. Something about talk radio that’s very intimate for the listener. You feel like these guys are almost personal friends. You learn about their private lives, their likes and dislikes and their personality. It creates a connection. I’ll miss Bernie, he was a great guy with amazing perspective and foresight. Thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP 🙏💪
My memories of Bernie will last as long as God gives me days on this planet. May the peace of God be with his wife and children as well as his extended family. In Jesus name we pray amen.

My God, that was such a moving ceremony. For WABC, having all their legendary DJs and personalities, to name their Studio A after Bernard is truly a testament to his talent and goodness. With that being said: Did anyone else leave this video wondering what Bo’s recipe is?

This is a wonderful outpouring of emotions and memories. I've never met Bernard McGuirk or anyone else associated with him, but I -- like others -- feel the loss as if we did know them all.

What a wonderful memorial. God bless Bernie and god bless the WABC radio extended family. You’re success comes from your hard work and dedication and Bernie was at the center of that for sure. Sid, God bless you too. You are an amazing talent and it is obvious you were a true friend to Bernie and family and all of WABC. Stay the course and continue this great legacy. It is so important to this city more than you can ever know.
Imus sucked but Bernie was GREAT so funny and I loved Sid on WFAN when I was still in NJ. Good man Sid being there for your friend! Curtis good man and thanks for risking your life for so many years. NYC needs you! RIP Bernie!
I still can't believe Bernie is gone. I am sorry. Bo and Sid's talk killed me. Such good people. I listen to Sid everyday, even if it is for 5 minutes.
My Lord, just stumbled across this. Had lost track of Bernie since the Imus Show ended. So so sorry to all his friends and family. Over the years, when he was with Imus, I can not count the times he made me laugh out loud. In my opinion, making people laugh is one of the most precious gifts there is. Rest in Peace buddy....................................
