Gerald DeCaire that’s one of the reasons lol But the biggest reason is because of all the fear mongering done in the media against his proposals like Medicare for all They misinform the people and well a lot of us don’t have time to sit down and read about everything going on in the world of politics So the little we get from the news is what sticks with people And all u head in there is “his plans are too irrational, Nobody really want what he’s proposing, he’s tooooooooo to the left of policies, he’s crazy” And nonsense like that No fact, data or information of any kind backing up their statement Just straight feel Nobody cares about how the talk host feel We want to know the facts What really happened Not what people say might have happened
Gerald DeCaire yes!!! We are not alone in this fight for equity in our country if you can change the point of view of just 3 people that’s more then enough If we all change about 3 to 5 people and convince them to vote for Bernie It will have a huge impact in the next elections That’s all we can do Keep passing the word to our fellow brothers and sisters Regardless of their party affiliation, although I won’t deny that for most republicans it will likely be impossible to change their minds Buts there’s more people that don’t vote then there are racist people in our country Let’s keep moving forward my brother With Bernie!!!! #Bernie2020
I can thank trump for one thing and one thing only. He made me realize voting is important. Sadly I and a lot more didn’t. This time will be different. We are all in for amazing senator sanders
dare d: Because almost getting the Democratic nomination for President in 2016 means he "hasn't ever done anything." You are so full of it. Bernie Sanders' biography: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders
dare d: The hypocrites are the Donald Trump voters. Why don't you move to Russia and see how you like it there? You hate your own country because of the freedom and democracy our ancestors fought for here.
Exactly. She'll always say things like "well you know, it was tough...i get attacked by everyone. But you know, i just keep going" The false humility is just so obvious. Betnie has been fighting the true fight for American wellbeing all his life. He has LIVED it, his entire life. Not with the golden spoon like Hillary. A true fighter for human dignity.
@Steven Prime I don't get why American People get worked up, because of people having sex at 16 years old. That's literally the age women are physically built to start doing it. It's their thing wheter they do it or not. It almost seems like you get your morals from the laws and not from critically thinking about it. Why are people called pedos for advocating for teens having sex. They dont want to have sex with them, they want to legalize something they are probably doing anyways. The USA calls it self the land of the free, yet it seems to me they are more restricting than other developed countries.
He only goes into a rage and turns into the hulk whenever he's around the other phony candidates. When he's around someone as gentle and caring as Bernie, he immediately transforms back into Bruce Banner
@@sofa7219 and like all conservatives, you go about judging someone and shunning them even though you have no idea what they've been through, and are going through now Conservatives love to say that liberals live in a fantasy land, the opposite is true , conservatives believe that America is a perfect meritocracy, they praise rich people as hardworkers and job creators, even if they inherited that wealth and are automating and outsourcing jobs. They shun and rebuke poor people as lazy welfare leeches who don't contribute, even if it is a single mom with 3 jobs struggling to pay rent and raise her kids, conservatives live in a fantasy land, liberals live in the reality that the country is far from perfect and needs fixing
Pinhead Larry when did I shun him I simply gave him advice, also liberals are wealthier than conservatives on average, we don’t give a fuck how much we make or this and that we just want to keep most of the money we work for and not pay for everyone else’s problems, wanna know a secret? Everyone struggles with depression, anxiety or some form of it. The solution isn’t to wait for Bernie fucking sanders to fix it for you because I promise he won’t.
@@kamran5461 too bad he didn't show up to fight power plants in his own neighborhood, the Hudson Valley, but what the hell, local activists carried the fight at the local Standing Rocks...
@300bpm The irony of the Dumpturds. Your moronic comment is stupid. Bernie didn't ever say he was against capitalism. He's against (unfettered) greed. Capiche?
I'm literally getting emotional. I've never felt so strongly about a political candidate before. Bernie is the first politician I'm actually excited to support and the first one I've ever considered donating to. We better elect him in 2020 damn it.
+EV docmaker I laughed way too hard at this. Honestly, I think the ability to enable others to create positive change is more important than doing everything yourself.
Absolutely! I apologize if it seemed like I was disagreeing with you, as I wasn't at all. I laughed because it was true, and I appreciate that people who support him (I assume) can point out his "flaws" and stand by him regardless.
@Steven Prime So if he's rich, he's a hypocrite, and if he's poor, he's envious. It's almost like bootlickers and capitalists simply don't want the system criticized at all.
@Alexa Fleming Isn't it stunning how our perceptions of to have been pushed to further and further extremes as well though? *Just* millions of dollars. Obviously Bernie is the only viable option to vote for, and I support him 100%. His wealth in comparison to... Pretty much anyone in office... Is miniscule. But millions of dollars is still actually a crazy amount of money and it's depressing that we at this point have to argue that such amounts of money are small for one person to have.
@dare d Ah yes. No spine Bernie. A man that was arrested for marching for civil rights beside Dr Martin Luther King when he was young. Constantly fighting for the rights of others. Definitely spineless. Bernie is more close to a Libertarian Socialist in all likelihood. Which is what I am.
300bpm Coming from cynic who’s post practically screams how you’ve just given up on any kind of positive life I would consider being called a ‘fucking idiot’ by you to be a good thing.
300bpm if me being against everything you claim to stand for makes me an idiot I will wear it proudly. Although the truth most likely is that you stand for nothing and will change your beliefs to that of whatever your faux news dopes or brain fart of a dear leader tells you to. That has to really sting when looked at from a logical perspective which I doubt but hope you are still capable of. drumpf won’t be in office forever and someday you will have to face and really look at your thinking and behavior throughout this incredibly important time in history. Most Americans believe the man who fought against the evils of institutional slavery was the greatest POTUS ever. They will think the same way of #bernie2020
+Victoria Smith Yeah, he is so modest and authentic. I wish we had politicians like this in France. So many people around the world are making calls for Bernie, it's insane.
Bernie is a class act. He's the only politician who has been consistent, for decades. Bernie can relate to the middleclass. He freekin gets it.We are not alone, I will vote for this man.
20thCenturyPox Hillary: Ight, imma go be a bitch Trump (buried under more than 2 inches of orange spray tan): Takes a huuge smelly dump on everything and everyone then brags about it. Trumptards: Cheer and applaud Normal people: So when can we have a good president ? Trumptards: He thill your prehident libs
I'm not even from the US, and I'll be heartbroken if he doesn't win. But even if he doesn't, he has already changed things. He has started a movement, and brought millions of people together, and ignited a new passion for the possibility of change in people's hearts. From now on, every time, politicians try to get away with bullshit, there will be millions of people now united, ready to make their voices heard.
Every time I watch Bernie, I tear up. The resilience with which he goes forward despite being called a socialist and being ignored by the media and the rest of the establishment is truly amazing. America is missing out.
@@carriesee7209 his brother chocked up in 2016 even thinking about it. He lives in the UK and went to the DNC convention to announce the primary result of the expats (which Sanders won). He got quite emotional and even Bernie had to hold it together. They interviewed Larry Sanders later on that - still chocking up. - he is a nice guy, too.
If you're getting your political news from mainstream media, you're wrong. One of Hillary Clintons biggest supporters is time Warner who owns CNN. They keep as many facts about Bernie away from their viewers as possible. This is why we are standing up and fighting against these large corporations. It's a rigged economy and we're almost to the point where elections are controlled largely by the media/large corporations. The media has a lot of power over the minds of America because people still have that small bit of hope that CNN is an honest unbiased news source. Almost every single mainstream media corporation is trying to prevent Bernie from winning, to include the newspapers.
+Peter Spalthoff This is what gets me about people who say "free higher education isn't possible in the USA." It's so funny that the concept is so underwhelming abroad -- cause it's totally doable! I think it's important that all of us in The States look to our global community for guidance on occasion. This "we're better than everyone" mentality has no place in an ever-shrinking world/global economy.
Bernie is one of a kind. I feel inspired, emotional, hopeful when I hear him speak about justice, rights, and diversity. He's there for us. (And I'm Canadian). Wishing you all the best, my American neighbours.
@Conspiracy At home You just signaled your 'virtues'. Just because your virtues are NIL (meaning you really have none)... doesn't mean they aren't virtues, or that you aren't signaling them like a junior high-school cheerleader.
@Conspiracy At home Oh, and Ayn Rand spent an entire book signalling your kind of virtues: 'The Virtue of Selfishness'. Can you imagine being SO caught up in your own virtues, that you spend an entire book signalling them? :D
And very savvy on truth/facts and for calling out the fracking and oil companies everywhere - including in California, when the governor was spouting off lies. Jerry Brown, I think.
I’ve never really gotten involved with politics before in my life Bernie until you ran for president. It’s a crime as to what took place in your stead as you are the most transparent and yet pure hearted delegate as well as a gentleman of heroism in my eyes. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I too like yourself came from somewhat of a poverty stricken background as my parents like yours were decent upstanding and good people. You remind me a great deal of the family figures I was brought up with. I nearly broke down in tears when things happened the way they did aside of being angry. You will always remain in my heart as that valiant soldier of national unity and peace. You are loved Bernie Sanders ❤️
+nelson 100 I was al for Hillary Untill in March 2015 i Heared about this guys Bernie Sanders Runing for Presdient and then i Went Like: People has to know about this Person we cant let Hillary win only cause She is more Famous and have a Houshold name. And look what Happend Bernie is with out a Doubt the most Suported Candidate by the World just go Into the Internet and You will see People like My Self who arent from America Supporting him and doing every thing they can to spread the word and make their American Friends do the Same thing or at least look into Bernie Sanders, Cause when they do almost every one Starts to Support him Over Hillary.
One of the best interviews with Bernie I've seen. Please forward this to all of your friends and especially ones living in NY. He is such a good person.
What a beautiful mini documentary. Really touching. Bernie has been fighting for the American people his entire life and so few know about this. What a perseverance. Endurance. Conviction. And faith in the American people. I hope this November more people recognizes that. I hope they do. For their own sake.
This is so beautiful! I'm so very touched and honored to be alive at this time in history-My husband and I are 55 years old and we've been waiting our whole life for someone like Bernie! Go Bernie!! UPSTATE NY FOR BERNIE!!!!!!!!!!
Everytime he releases an Ad I say this is the best one yet. Kudos to his campaign staff, truly great Ads & ideas. Serves right to have Millennials on your side, we know a thing or two about efficient communication.
I admire the ones who have the courage to stand with Bernie and identify with those of us who struggle, even though they don't. Bernie remembers what it's like and Ruffalo has dared to stand with him and with us. Love to you both, now and always.
I can't conceive a better man to be the US president, right now, than Sanders. America needs a change in its rotten politics and corrupted ways. I'm not even american, but as an attentive person, I wouldn't think twice about my vote.
Reading comments under Bernie's videos makes me so happy, they're so full of love and hope. This is the democratic socialism some people are so afraid of.
I’m applying to City College, and Brooklyn College to study Journalism. I want to make the world better, and make people aware of all the injustices in society. So that way, I hope more people can support Bernie Sanders, because they are more aware of the world.
Feroz ShadowFax It's a damn shame but all other options scare me too much, and unfortunately Greens really do have no chance, the public just isn't quite there. I hate how under the table our corruption is in comparison to America. Did you know our taxes our being used to evict Papa New Guineans and privatise electricity in Africa? The Tories and their disgusting use of foreign aid.
+Zalx Its not just that its the quality of our elected representatives - MPs - most of them are completely uneducated, unimaginative and uncommitted. Especially the cuts and how the bureaucracy has been managed with health care and education its atrocious
I'm nearly as old as Bernie, but unlike so many others of my age, the progressive fire still runs bright in me. How I wish Bernie will win the primary! (The general election will take care of itself).
+Craig D I get teary eyed when I see him passionately sharing his points in front of an empty congress, and compare that to decades later, talking in front of tens of thousands of people. Thank you Bernie for sticking it out for this long. We're here for you now.
This is so calming, peaceful, and lovely. Please show this to people. Spread it around, show it to classmates, send it to colleagues, broadcast it to friends, but please spread the love of this
+Ron Smith That's the most poignant point. We want to feel like we have the support of people around us. And Bernie's campaign is all about standing together.
I'm bawling like a baby. Such a beautiful soul. And so humble. And he brings out the beauty in us...he knows we can be better,we deserve better. It's always about working together with Bernie, even when they're talking about him and his life.
Just seeing this revelatory ad today. What a beautiful, heartwarming thing to hear of some of Bernie's accomplishments/history for the first time. If this man does not become our next President, there is absolutely positively NO justice in this world!
@justinian1962 I love how you think our divided capitalist nation could ever or would ever agree to them itself into an authoritarian government, let alone communist. That would require the military going on board with it in eliminating the other members of congress that don't agree. That simply can't be accomplished in the modern world.
@justinian1962 you definitely sound paranoid, and likely have tons of guns in your house that you never use, and think spending more money than the entire world combined on the military is considered a "good idea". I can respect being prepared when it's reasonable, but any further I do not. No one has given me a good enough argument against supporting Bernie Sanders. There's just not enough wrong with what he wants. I mean, how can you argue against making insulin actually affordable like the rest of the world? What about trying to create a better environment? A lot of what he is proposing is considered "radical" or "socialist" when in truth it's just what's already been implemented throughout modern Europe. We aren't electing dictators, and there's not enough to make any leader able to turn our country into an authoritarian government. It just won't happen, it's not possible unless our culture actually shifts on itself. Same issue with removing guns, that won't happen. Any extreme policy he'll try and implement that isn't agreed on, he'll simply be forced to compromise. I can see him doing that, because he's so passionate about his views that he'll do whatever he possibly can to make it implemented, even if compromises must be made. He has passion to his ideals, and has been consistent with them for decades. A good debater, and knows the right decisions for war issues (he literally predicted the outcome of the Iraq war) and knows what's actually important for our nation, itself, and the success for it. When our nation fixes itself, THAN we can help the world. It shouldn't be the other way around like us helping Israel despite them not giving a shit about us.
If the people keep the spirit of Bernie's campaign alive after the primaries are over, then we all win. He may not end up being the Democratic nominee, but he can still be a strong representative for the people of this nation. He's in our blood now. We need keep this progressive pressure on government leaders and this that are leading the government to the right.
Mark that was a great interview. Thank you for that. We need more of this in politics, people connecting with real emotion and story. Consider formats like this for your state of the union addresses Mr. Sanders. ;)
BERNIE 2020 I ACTUALLY CRY WITH JOY IN MY HEART... KNOWING BERNIE SPEAKS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY! Knowing He is out there fighting for me... gives me hope, courage, and most of all... a Person I can Believe in! This world needs a superhero.... Bernie Sanders is My Hero!
Also, just want to say this - thank you, Bernie. You love the people of this country. No 74 year old man would run himself around the clock working as hard as you are to help people. I apologize for my fellow Americans who make fun of you and call you names. Your heart is in the right place and history will treat you kindly even if they aren't. Thank you.
+BABA LSD I don't believe in thrusting too much change on the American people at once. I like his ideas, but id prefer the sort of gradual change preferred by Hillary
I had the same feeling... Felt very nice that few people are the same till their last breadth.... If many people could understand and realise the truth, earth would be an awesome place to live...
